Abstract: Disclosed are: a high-strength steel sheet having excellent tensile strength and yield strength by including 90 area% or more of a martensite microstructure via rapid cooling of a hot-rolled steel sheet immediately after hot-rolling, under a rapid cooling condition; and a manufacturing method for the steel sheet. The steel sheet according to the present invention comprises, by weight %, 0.11 to 0.30% of C, 0.10 to 3.00% of Mn, more than 0% to 0.50% or less of Si, more than 0% to 0.10% or less of Al, more than 0% to 0.05% or less of P, more than 0% to 0.03% or less of S, more than 0% to 0.03% or less of N, and the remainder of Fe and other unavoidable impurities, and comprises, with respect to a total of 100 area%, 90 to 100 area% of the martensite microstructure.
