Polyamide Multifilament, And Polyamide Monofilament

Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a high-strength monofilament having stable product quality at a high processing yield, by using a polyamide multifilament which has not only high strength but also excellent filament separation and which could not be achieved by the prior art. The present invention provides a polyamide multifilament and a polyamide monofilament obtained by subjecting said polyamide multifilament to filament separation, the polyamide multifilament being characterized by having number of entanglements A (entanglements/m) of 0.3 to 3.0 (exclusive of 0.3 and 3.0) under low-load tension conditions, a ratio A/B, which is number of entanglements A to number of entanglements B (entanglements/m), of at least 1.5 under high-load tension conditions, a single yarn fineness of 6-40 dtex, and a strength of 7.0-11.0 cN/dtex.
