Abstract: An apparatus for outputting alternating current power according to an embodiment of the present invention is an apparatus for outputting alternating current power from a plurality of batteries connected in series, and comprises: switching units connected to the plurality of batteries, respectively, and configured to turn on or off the electrical connection between a corresponding battery and the other battery according to an operation state; a filter unit configured to receive the output voltage of the plurality of batteries, adjust the polarity of the output voltage of the plurality of batteries according to an operation state, and output a voltage of the adjusted polarity; and a control unit configured to control the operation states of the switching units and the filter unit so that alternating current power is output from the plurality of batteries.
