Battery Managing Apparatus And Method Thereof

Abstract: A battery managing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a profile obtaining unit configured to obtain a first profile for each of a plurality of batteries included in a battery pack; and a diagnosis unit that calculates a target value for each of the plurality of batteries on the basis of a first target point or target ratio for each of the plurality of first profiles, generates a distribution profile indicating a correspondence relationship between the calculated plurality of target values and the number for each of the plurality of target values, determines whether the distribution profile satisfies a predetermined condition, and diagnoses the state of the battery pack according to the result of determination.
