Battery Management Device And Operating Method Thereof

Abstract: A battery management device according to one embodiment disclosed in the present document may comprise: an information acquisition unit for acquiring the voltage of each of a plurality of battery cells; and a controller which calculates, on the basis of the voltage of each of the plurality of battery cells, the resistance of each of the plurality of battery cells corresponding to an SOC class including at least one SOC if the plurality of battery cells are charged on the basis of a preset charging protocol, and which diagnoses each of the plurality of battery cells on the basis of the resistance of each of the plurality of battery cells corresponding to the SOC class.
