Abstract: ABSTRACT AN ULTRASOUND DEVICE AND METHOD FOR COMPUTING COMPENSATED FORCE Disclosed herein is a method of computing compensated force in an ultrasound probe. The 5 method comprises receiving, from a force sensor, force applied by the probe to a subject. The method then comprises receiving, from an inertial measurement unit, orientation of the probe and determining compensated force value based on the detected orientation, pre-stored calibration data of the probe, and the raw force. 10 Fig. 3
