Locating A System Information Block In A Multiple Radio Access Technology Environment
Abstract: A network node (120) transmits a Physical Downlink Control Channel, PDCCH, within a candidate resource area. The PDCCH comprises information for locating a first System Information Block 1, SIB1, of a first Radio Access Technology, RAT, within a carrier that spans the first SIB1 of the first RAT and a second SIB1 of a second RAT. The network node (120) also transmits the first SIB1. A UE (110) locates the PDCCH within the candidate resource area and uses the PDCCH to locate the first SIB1 within the carrier.
