Abstract: The present invention provides a 6lowpan assisted system architecture for real-time location of the bag which consists of Power supply (104), GPS (102), Controlling Unit (100) and 6LoWPAN module (103). All these 4 will be embedded inside the bag (101), which will be a shoulder bag or laptop bag. The user will download our mobile application (105) in which they will register and login with their mobile number and create their profile. After setting up the mobile app (105), the user has to pair their mobile app (105) with the Controlling Unit (100) for the first time. After this, the user can start and stop the app by using the toggle button in the mobile app.
Field of the Invention
This invention relates to a 6LoWPAN assisted system for real-time location of the bag.
Background of the Invention
Sometimes the shoulder bag or laptop bag gets stolen or gets lost by the owner and because the owner keeps most of their important items in their bags, their all-important items, gadgets, documents also get lost with the bag.
US9396374B2 says that an electronic baggage tag is self-reliant and self-regulating and provides the underlying foundation for a baggage tracking and management system, the center of which operates one or more tag service provider servers. The tag is attached to a baggage and is loaded with various data, including passenger itinerary, GPS data, and journey profile data. The tag has sensors, such for detecting different vibrations, electro-magnetic sensor, GPS, and others. As the baggage to which the tag is attached goes on its journey, the sensors detect stimuli and ascertain where in the journey the baggage is and use itinerary and other data to determine where the baggage should be. The tag service provider server communicates with the tag at various stages in the journey, providing up-to-date itinerary data to the tag. The tag automatically shuts off to be compliant with government regulations for devices in flight.
Research Gap: The GPS is embedded within the bag itself and the user will get an alert on their mobile whenever they will be away from their bag more than a particular distance. The user can even see the location of their bag on their mobile application.
None of the prior art indicate above either alone or in combination with one another disclose what the present invention has disclosed.

Figure 1 illustrates the proposed architecture of the invention where it consists of Power supply (104), GPS (102), Controlling Unit (100) and 6LoWPAN module (103). The user will download our mobile application (105) in which they will register and login with their mobile number and create their profile. After setting up the mobile app (105), the user has to pair their mobile app (105) with the Controlling Unit (100) for the first time. • It will alert the user whenever the bag will be left somewhere by mistake.
• The user can locate their bag with their mobile app in case of any misplace or theft.
• The user can see the real-time location of their bag, irrespective of distance between the user and the bag

• Internet and cloud empowered interconnectivity based smart bag.
• 6LoWPAN assisted Automatic alert generation and transmission system.
We Claims:
1. A 6LOWPAN assisted system for real-time location of the bag comprising, a Power supply (104), a GPS (102), a Controlling Unit (100) and a 6LoWPAN module (103).
2. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein, the system embedded inside the bag (101), which is a shoulder bag or laptop bag.
3. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein, the user will download the mobile application (105) in which they will register and login with their mobile number and create their profile and then the user has to pair their mobile app (105) with the Controlling Unit (100) for the first time to start and stop the app by using the toggle button in the mobile app.
4. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein, when the mobile app (105) is stopped by the user, it won’t collect any data and when the app will be started by the user, it will keep collecting the GPS (102) data from the Controlling Unit (100), and whenever the bag (101) will be away, more than a particular distance, from the user, the mobile app (105) will generate a pop-up alert on the mobile via internet connectivity through 6LoWPAN module and will send an SMS alert on the registered mobile number.
5. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein, the 6LoWPAN module also enables to generate the real-time location of the bag (101) on the mobile app (105).
