Abstract: 7. ABSTRACT The present invention discloses the process of preparing black tea disintegrating film. The composition involves to prepare the film are Weighing required quantity of purified water in a SS container, Black Tea extract, pullulan, maltodextrin, Polyethylene oxide, Magnesium Aluminometasilicate (MAS), solid flavor, Liquid flavor, propylene glycol, glycerin, polysorbate Sorbitol. The wet slurry is subjected to vacuum degassing. The coating of above wet slurry at process parameters of Coating Thickness is 800 - 900µ. The Drying Temperature is 95±3°c, and dried for 19 minutes. They are Post dried and slit the film into 30mm x 40mm (width x Length) to get the desired weight. The present invention is to provide a black tea with low-calorie, non-sweetened beverage with less caffeine than coffee or energy drinks. Black tea contains polyphenols, which may help fight cancer cells in the body. It also contains flavonoids which are beneficial for heart health. The figure associated with the abstract is Fig. 1.
DESC:4. DESCRIPTION
Technical Field of the invention
The present invention relates to the field of oral disintegrating film. More particularly it relates to the process of preparing black tea oral disintegrating film.
Background of the invention
Black tea is made from the leaves of a bush called Camellia sinensis. It has caffeine as well as other stimulants and antioxidants. Lots of people in the U.S. drink it either hot or cold. It should always be steeped in hot water before it is cooled. A process called oxidation turns the leaves from green to a dark brownish-black color. Oxidation means the leaves are exposed to moist, oxygen-rich air. Tea manufacturers can control the amount of oxidation. Black tea is a fully oxidized tea. Green tea comes from the same plant, but is not oxidized. Black tea extract is sometimes sold as an herbal supplement. Sometimes, the supplement includes other types of herbs, vitamins, or minerals.
Drinking black tea is an excellent option and an alternative of coffee or energy drinks. Black tea is not only a non-sweetened or less-calorie drink but also provides several health benefits as it contains powerful groups of polyphenols including epigallocatechin gallate, theaflavins, thearubigins, an amino acid L-theanine, and several other catechins or flavonoids which provide protection against the onset of several chronic disorders. Recently, Autumn Enloe has reviewed the health benefits of black tea.
Drinking black tea has a range of health benefits as it contains lots of powerful antioxidants and other compounds which have potential to decrease inflammation and to reduce the risk for the onset of chronic conditions.
Black tea is good for Alertness and energy, Antioxidants including polyphenols and catechins, possible anti-cancer effects, Heart health, improved metabolism and Gut health. More research is needed, but there’s some evidence drinking black tea regularly may lower your risk for these conditions such as Diabetes, High cholesterol, Kidney stones, Parkinson’s disease, Osteoporosis and Cavities (Dental caries).
Black tea contains a group of polyphenols that have antioxidant properties. Consuming antioxidants may help decrease the risk of chronic disease and improve your overall health. Black tea contains flavonoids, which are beneficial for heart health. Studies have found that regularly drinking black tea may help reduce the risk of heart disease.
LDL and HDL are two types of lipoproteins that carry cholesterol throughout the body. Too much LDL in the body can increase the risk of heart disease and stroke. Studies have found that black tea may help reduce LDL levels.
The gut houses trillions of bacteria and the majority of your immune system. Polyphenols and antimicrobial properties found in black tea may help improve gut health and immunity.
High blood pressure can cause many health complications. Drinking black tea on a regular basis may help decrease systolic and diastolic blood pressure, but research is mixed.
Black tea contains polyphenols, which may help fight cancer cells in the body. Although consuming black tea will not cure cancer, it may help decrease cancer cell development. Black tea is a great option for a low-calorie, non-sweetened beverage with less caffeine than coffee or energy drinks.
The present invention implements a process of preparing black tea with disintegrating film which is good alternative to tea bags. Hence this ready to dissolve film is convenient to consume.
