A Bracket For A Wheel House Inner Area To Improve In Cabin Noise Of A Vehicle
Abstract: ABSTRACT A BRACKET FOR A WHEEL HOUSE INNER AREA TO IMPROVE IN-CABIN NOISE OF A VEHICLE The present subject matter disclosed herein relates to a bracket (100) for a wheel house inner area (200) of a vehicle, the bracket (100) comprising a hat-shaped section (102) at the center, having an upper side (104a), a lower side (104d), a first side (104b), and a second side (104c). The upper side (104a), the first side (104b) and the second side (104c) of the hat-shaped section (102) have an upper flange (106a), a first flange (106b) and a second flange (106c), respectively connected from three sides, and a joggle (108) at the lower side (104d) of the hat-shaped section (102). The bracket (100) is designed to be mounted on the front panel (202) and the center panel (204) of the wheel house inner area (200) to provide rigidity to the wheel house inner area (200) and control the vibration of a rear shock attachment location (206) in the vehicle.
