Abstract: The present invention relates to a bracket (200, 300) and a system for locking a draft sensing assembly (301) of a farm vehicle. As per an embodiment of the present invention, the bracket comprises: a plate (210, 310) having a hole (215, 315) for fitting between a top link (333) connected to an implement and a bell crank (320) of the draft sensing assembly (301); and at least two legs (L1, L2) spaced apart at a predetermined distance, the legs (L1, L2) are extending from an edge (E) of the plate (210, 310) to detachably fix to the draft sensing assembly (301) for locking rotation of the bell crank (320) of the draft sensing assembly (301) thereby disallowing forces from the implement to reach the draft sensing assembly (301). Therefore, the shortcoming of deinstalling and reinstalling the draft sensing assembly (301) is overcome.
1. A bracket (200, 300) for locking a draft sensing assembly (301) of a
farm vehicle, the bracket (200, 300) comprising:
a plate (210, 310) having a hole (215, 315) for fitting between a top link (333) connected to an implement and a bell crank (320) of the draft sensing assembly (301); and
at least two legs (L1, L2) extending from an edge (E) of the plate (210, 310) to detachably fix to the draft sensing assembly (301) for locking rotation of the bell crank (320) of the draft sensing assembly (301) thereby disallowing forces from the implement to reach the draft sensing assembly (301).
2. The bracket as claimed in claim 1, wherein the legs (L1, L2) are formed by welding a C-shape pin (C) to the plate (210, 310).
3. The bracket as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2, wherein the hole (215, 315) is punched in the plate (210, 310).
4. The bracket as claimed in claim 1, wherein the legs (L1, L2) are resilient.
5. The bracket as claimed in claim 1, wherein the legs (L1, L2) are spaced apart a predetermined distance ranging between 21 mm and 31 mm.
6. The bracket as claimed in claim 2, wherein the plate (210, 310) and the C-shape pin (C) is made of same or different material.
7. A system for locking a draft sensing assembly (301) in a farm vehicle, the system (301) comprising:
a top link (333) pivotably connected at one end (X) with an implement;
a bell crank (320) having bottom bores (B1, B2) on at least two opposite vertical flanges (F1, F2) under a top pipe (320A), one of the bottom bore (B1 or B2) receives a top link lock pin (P) to pivotably connect the bell crank (320) with an opposite end (Y) of the top link (333);
a bracket (200, 300) comprising a plate (210, 310) having a hole (215, 315) for fitting between a top link (333) connected to an implement and a bell crank (320) of the draft sensing assembly (301); and
at least two legs (L1, L2) extending from an edge (E) of the plate (210, 310) to detachably fix to the draft sensing assembly (301) to resiliently adapt over a sleeve (S1) of the draft sensing assembly (301) for locking rotation of the bell crank (320) of the draft sensing assembly (301) thereby disallowing forces from the implement to reach the draft sensing assembly (301).
