TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates generally to a package assembly. More particularly, the present
invention relates to abundling system for storing articles such as cigarettes and the like, said
bundling system comprises an enclosure means thatfacilitates regulating exposure of the articles.
BACKGROUND AND THE PRIOR ART
In a cigarette pack, to dispense a cigarette, the consumer has to tear-off the inner bundling
leaving majority of the remaining cigarettes exposed till the last consumption. Also, in the retail
shop the shop keeper generally requires selling single units and under such situation the
remaining cigarettes in the pack may be exposed to the environment once the conventional
bundling is torn off; which therefore calls for an arrangement whereby cigarettes can be
protected from exposure.
Some of the prior arts in this field of invention are as follows:
US20120187010A1 discloses a biaxially oriented polypropylene film with at least two perforated
lines is described, which run parallel to one another and are located at a maximum interval of 10
mm. The perforations of the two lines are offset relative to one another. The intervals of
undamaged film between the perforations are longer than the perforations.
US2012152773A1 discloses a biaxially oriented polypropylene film with perforated lines is
described. The film has at least two perforated lines which run parallel to one another and are
located at a maximum interval of 10 mm. The perforations of the two lines are offset relative to
one another.
US3809227A discloses a cigarette packages are wrapped in an aligned single row or assembly of
five such packages, so that two such wrapped assemblies can be placed side-by-side in a
conventional carton making a unit sale of five prepackaged packages possible if desired. The
cigarette packages in each assembly are connected in linked together assembly by means of a
component superposed on and secured to one end surface of each package, the component being

provided as an elongated strip which has frangible segments therein extending transversely of the
strip in regions where the strip overlies the location of abutment of each package with an
adjacent package. If unit sales of less than five packages are desired, a selected package or
packages can be removed from the assembly by severing the strip along appropriate frangible
segments, with the associated strip portion remaining secured to the package or packages which
have been removed, the strip portion associated with the removed packages bearing the tax
marking indicia required by most localities remaining affixed to such packages at the time of
retail sales of the same.
US4081126A discloses a hard-box, hinge-lid package of 25 cigarettes may be provided without
attendant prior art problems by separating the cigarettes into two distinct bundles, each of which
is laterally confined by foil paper with the cigarettes in each bundle being arranged in three
parallel rows in which the front and rear rows of each contain the same number of cigarettes and
the center row contains one less cigarette than the other rows, and each cigarette in the center
row engages two cigarettes in each of the front and rear rows, so that there is a cigarette located
at each corner of each bundle.
US2867368A discloses a dispensing carton comprising a longitudinal bottom panel, a pair of
opposed longitudinal side panels each integral to and at a right angle to said bottom panel, a top
longitudinal panel integral to and normally at a right angle to a side panel, a longitudinal sealer
panel integral to and at a right angle to said top panel and sealed to the adjacent dispensing side
panel, an end panel integral to and at a right angle to each of the ends of the other and opposed
side panel, said top and bottom longitudinal panels having relatively small sealer panels integral
to and at a right angle to each of its respective ends and sealed respectively to the respective end
panels, said dispensing side panels being secured longitudinally by a perforated tear line , said
longitudinal sealer panel secured to said side panel being secured by a perforated tear line, said
side dispensing panel having a medical longitudinal tear line and a plurality of the spaced-apart
parallel tear lines each disposed at a right angle to said medical line thereby dividing up the
dispensing panel into a plurality of small individually removable dispensing panels, said small
sealer panels secured to one of said end panels being secured by a respective perforated line to its

respective top and bottom panel, thereby providing a tear able end panel tear able away from its
normally confining sealer panels secured thereto
JP2002193356 discloses an inner box of a cigarette packaging box in which a cigarette taking-
out opening can be formed simply in a superior outer appearance. In the case of a cigarette
packaging box, its inner box is formed as a box member comprised of a rectangular cylinder
having four side walls with a sheet of packaging paper being folded, a bottom segment with
bottom walls to extending from the side walls of the rectangular cylinder in a downward
direction being folded, and a lid segment with lid walls extending from the side walls of the
rectangular cylinder in an upward direction being folded. Further, a string member having one
end as a free end is positioned in at least one end of the lid segment holding a seal and adhered
along each of the sides in a rectangular region exposed from an outer box 14. When a cigarette is
to be taken out, the one end a of the string member 38 is pulled out to cause the rectangular
region to be peeled off from the lid segment together with the string member 38, resulting in that
a cigarette taking-out opening 36 is formed at the inner box.
US6726006 discloses a flask-shaped package or container for packaging smoking articles, such
as cigarettes, has a generally parallelepiped shape with slightly curved front and back body
panels. The container comprises a body and a lid integrally molded in one-piece of a plastic
material with an open bottom having an internal peripheral shoulder and a base made of a
separate plastic/metal foil laminate that is bonded to the shoulder by induction heating a heat-
activated adhesive covering the metal foil of the base. The body has a central internal front-to-
back stiffening rib and an access opening in its top and front panels with a surrounding ledge to
which is adhesively bonded a removable foil closure. After the access opening is closed with the
foil closure, cigarettes are inserted into the container body through the open bottom thereof. A
protective paperboard liner that prevents adherence between the heat-activated adhesive and the
cigarettes is inserted into the open bottom and supported by the central rib and the cigarettes. The
base laminate is then inserted into the open bottom and bears on the shoulder so that when the
adhesive is activated by induction heating, the base bonds to the shoulder and seals the container.
An adhesive-backed label wrap with brand specific indicia is applied to the outer surfaces of the
container
