Specification

CLIAMS:1. A clear liquid cleansing composition comprising:
a. at least one salt of fatty acid;
b. at least one acrylate based copolymer;
c. at least one cellulose based thickening agent; and
d. at least one suspended particle species,
wherein the at least one suspended particle species has a particle size of 10µm-2000µm, and particle density of 0.5gm/cm3-3 gm/cm3.
2. The clear liquid composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the particle size is 30µm-900µm, preferably 50µm-700µm, and particle density of 0.75gm/cm3-2gm/cm3, preferably 0.9gm/cm3-1.5gm/cm3.
3. The clear liquid cleansing composition as claimed in claim 1, further comprising of at least one non-ionic surfactant.
4. The clear liquid cleansing composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one salt of fatty acid is potassium or sodium salt of a fatty acid having a 8-22 carbon atoms chain, preferably 12-18 carbon atoms chain, more preferably 12-14 carbon atoms chain.
5. The clear liquid cleansing composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one salt of fatty acid is present in an amount of 10%-25% by weight of said composition, preferably 10%-20% by weight of said composition, more preferably 12%-18% by weight of said composition.
6. The clear liquid cleansing composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one acrylate based polymer is selected from the group consisting of Carbopol Aqua SF-1™, Carbopol Aqua SF-2™, Carbopol 990™, Aculyn 88™, Aculyn 22™, and Aculyn 36™, preferably Aculyn 88™.
7. The clear liquid cleansing composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one acrylate based polymer is present in an amount of 1%-4% by weight of said composition, preferably 1.5%-3.5% by weight of said composition.

The clear liquid cleansing composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one cellulose based thickening agent is selected from the group consisting of hydroxy ethyl cellulose, hydroxy methyl cellulose, hydroxy propyl cellulose, hydroxy propyl methyl cellulose, and methyl cellulose, preferably hydroxy propyl methyl cellulose.
9. The clear liquid cleansing composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one cellulose based thickening agent is present in an amount of 0.01%-0.8% by weight of said composition, preferably 0.3%-0.5% by weight of said composition.
10. The clear liquid cleansing composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one suspended particle species is selected from the group consisting of mica, Floraparticles™, polyethylene, and Unispheres RE 508™, preferably mica, Floraparticles™, polyethylene, and Unispheres RE 508™.
11. The clear liquid cleansing composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one suspended particle species is present in an amount of 0.1%-4% by weight of said composition, preferably 0.3%-3.5% by weight of said composition, more preferably 1.46% by weight of said composition.

The clear liquid cleansing composition as claimed in claim 2, wherein the at least one non-ionic surfactant is selected from the group consisting of glyceryl monohydroxystearate, isosteareth-2, trideceth-3, hydroxystearic acid, propylene glycol stearate, PEG-2 stearate, sorbitan monostearate, glyceryl laurate, laureth-2, cocamide monoethanolamine, lauramide monoethanolamine, decyl glucoside, decyl polyglucoside, lauryl polyglucoside, cocoamide diethanolamine, cocoamide monoethanolamine, ceteth-6, ceteareth-6, steareth-6, PEG-12 stearate, PEG-200 glyceryl tallowate, maltooligosyl glucoside/Hydrogenated Starch Hydrolysate, cocamide MEA, cocamide DEA, stearamide MEA, lauramide MEA, myristamide MEA, and isostearamide MEA, preferably cocamide MEA.
13. The clear liquid cleansing composition as claimed in claim 3, wherein the at least one non-ionic surfactant is present in an amount of 0.5%-3% by weight of said composition, preferably 2% by weight of said composition.
14. A process of preparing a clear liquid cleansing composition as claimed in claim 1.
