Abstract: An improved cloud based projection and humanoid system for providing intelligent inputs and acts as a personal assistant for household and entertainment applications, is disclosed herein. A humanoid robotic unit configured with a projection unit (e.g., an optical engine) capable of connecting to a cloud based server to seamlessly connect, retrieve and beam/stream required intelligent inputs with respect to the user in the network.

TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present invention generally relates to the field of data processing systems and methods. The present invention also relates to humanoid and robotic systems and methods. The present invention further relates to a cloud based projection systems and methods. The present invention more particularly related to an improved cloud based projection and humanoid system for providing intelligent inputs and act as a personal assistant for household and entertainment applications.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] With the continuous improvement in the field of advanced computation and robotics, adaptation of robotic applications and humanoid applications in enhancing living standards has increased. More particularly, more and more types of humanoids are introduced in personal assistance for human needs. With the increased advantage in this field there is a humongous demand from users for more and more humanoid systems replacing human direct intervention and interaction with systems. Also, more intelligent humanoid systems for special needs are increasingly urgent, not only for general entertainment purposes and gamming applications, the need has extended to more serious applications including assisting in day-to-day user needs and monitoring applications such as for example, but not limited to booking a cab, ordering a pizza and other household applications.

[0003] In general, Humanoids are automated devices that are able to manipulate objects using a series of links, which in turn are interconnected via robotic joints. Humanoid robots are a particular type of robot having an approximately human structure or appearance, whether a full body, a torso, and/or an appendage, with the structural complexity of the humanoid robot being largely dependent upon the nature of the work task being performed.
[0004] Majority of such humanoids are adapted in applications where there is a need for direct interaction with devices or systems that are specifically made for human use. Furthermore, the use of humanoid extended in applications where the interaction is required with humans, as the motion can be programmed to approximate human motion such that the task queues are understood by the cooperative human partner. Different control modes are programmed with respect to this kind of conventional humanoids in order to effectively handle a wide spectrum of work tasks that may be expected by the users of the devices.

[0005] Majority of prior art humanoid systems and application are well-known in assisting human in the field of entertainment and personal assistance. Such prior art humanoid application include mostly dolls, plush toys, puzzle-type systems, building blocks, jigsaw puzzle and so on. These prior art systems are intelligent and provide audible feedback for scenario reactions. With the advent advanced computation and modern internet era, humanoid applications are extended to household applications such as, applications provided by Google voice or Amazon echo etc. Majority of such prior art humanoid systems are voice based systems which respond to the human voice and intelligently render required information with respect to the human need.

[0006] In such prior art conference systems, it is very difficult to achieve seamless visual information exchange and also the quality of the communication depends on independent hardware components of the humanoid system. Also, the conventional humanoid applications are unable to provide a real-time visual experience to the user where he can enjoy the multimedia beaming and streaming features using the humanoid.

[0007] Such a prior art conferencing system could be highly disadvantageous in case of handling complex and intelligent house hold applications such as, finding a cooking recipe, tracking location of a family member, booking a cab and tracking and other visual based house hold needs. Also, the conventional prior art humanoid system do not have a cloud based projection system for beaming/streaming live activities and entertainment contents.

[0008] Based on the foregoing a need therefore exists for an improved humanoid system with visual capabilities for rendering house hold applications. A need also exists for an improved cloud based projection system to seamlessly share content/information in conference and meetings to ensure continuity of discussions within the network. Also, an improved cloud based projection and humanoid system for providing intelligent inputs and act as a personal assistant for household and entertainment applications, as described in greater detail herein.


SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0009] The following summary is provided to facilitate an understanding of some of the innovative features unique to the disclosed embodiment and is not intended to be a full description. A full appreciation of the various aspects of the embodiments disclosed herein can be gained by taking the entire specification, claims, drawings, and abstract as a whole.

[0010] Therefore, one aspect of the disclosed embodiment is to provide for an improved humanoid robotic system and method of handling the same.

[0011] It is another aspect of the disclosed embodiment to provide for an improved cloud based intelligent humanoid robot with projection system.

[0012] It is further aspect of the disclosed embodiment to provide for an improved cloud based projection and humanoid system for providing intelligent inputs and act as a personal assistant for household and entertainment applications.
[0013] The aforementioned aspects and other objectives and advantages can now be achieved as described herein. An improved cloud based projection and humanoid system for providing intelligent inputs and acts as a personal assistant for household and entertainment applications, is disclosed herein. A humanoid robotic unit configured with a projection unit (e.g., an optical engine) capable of connecting to a cloud based server to seamlessly connect, retrieve and beam/stream required intelligent inputs with respect to the user in the network.

[0014] A humanoid interactive application interacts with the cloud based server for storing and retrieving the content and thereby beaming/steaming the content with respect to the user via the projection unit. The humanoid interactive application receives voice command (command of any human language) and thereby processes the voice command into an actable instruction command. The humanoid interactive application further connects and communicates with the cloud based server to retrieve the relevant intelligent input with respect to the voice command and beam/streams through the projection unit.

[0015] The present invention relates to a system, software and method that have an intelligent humanoid robotic system integrated with a projection unit that connects to a back-end cloud service to store, retrieve and stream relevant intelligent information with respect to the voice command of the user.

[0016] The intelligent humanoid system along with the projection unit comprises a webcam, microphone, speakers and interactivity module that can make any surface interactive. The humanoid system also has the communication interfaces such as for example, but not limited to, USB, HDMI, Audio in-out and SIM slot.

[0017] The humanoid system further comprises of integrated system for mobility where the humanoid can move around listening to the voice command and identifying objects/humans in the environment. Optionally, the mobility component can be an accessory where it communicates with the system. The humanoid system additionally has a DTH receiver to receive live television channels and stream the content based on the user needs.
[0018] The humanoid robotic system proposed herein can be a mobile system which can be easy to use for the users of the system on the go. Such an advanced cloud based humanoid robot with projection system can be a very effective solution for a wide range of human household applications such as, for example, but not limited to retrieving and storing intelligent content, beaming/streaming advanced visual data for users, providing compact solution for visually enabled humanoid applications and mobile personal assistance. Note that the above applications are exemplary scope of use of the proposed humanoid system. However, a person skilled in the art can find additional applications and benefits out of the proposed advanced cloud based humanoid robot with projection system.

The humanoid robotic unit 110 configured with a projection unit (e.g., an optical engine) capable of connecting to a cloud based server 120 to seamlessly connect, retrieve and beam/stream required intelligent inputs with respect to the user in the network.

Upon registering the voice, the humanoid robot 100 provides answers/relevant intelligent information by projecting the results on the projector unit. The cloud based server 120 handles the processing of data and analytics. The cloud based server 120 further stores, retrieves and shares the requested data to the humanoid robotic system 100.

Optionally, the mobility component can be an accessory where it communicates with the system 100. The present invention relates to a system, software and method that have an intelligent humanoid robotic system 100 integrated with a projection unit that connects to a back-end cloud service to store, retrieve and stream relevant intelligent information with respect to the voice command of the user.

I/We Claim
1. An improved cloud based projection and humanoid system, said system comprising:
a humanoid robotic unit configured with a projection unit capable of connecting to a cloud based server to seamlessly connect, retrieve and beam/stream required intelligent inputs with respect to the user in the network;
a humanoid interactive application interacts with the cloud based server for storing and retrieving the content and thereby beaming/steaming the content with respect to the user via the projection unit wherein said system for provides intelligent inputs and acts as a personal assistant for household and entertainment applications.
2. The system of claim 1 wherein said humanoid interactive application receives voice command and thereby processes the voice command into an actable instruction command.
3. The system of claim 1 wherein the humanoid interactive application connects and communicates with the cloud based server to retrieve the relevant intelligent input with respect to the voice command and beam/streams through the projection unit.
4. The system of claim 1 further comprising an intelligent humanoid robotic system integrated with a projection unit that connects to a back-end cloud service to store, retrieve and stream relevant intelligent information with respect to the voice command of the user.
5. The system of claim 1 wherein the intelligent humanoid system along with the projection unit comprises a webcam, microphone, speakers and interactivity module that can make any surface interactive.
6. The system of claim 1 wherein the humanoid system comprises at least one of the following communication interfaces: USB; HDMI; Audio in-out; and SIM slot.
7. The system of claim 1 wherein the humanoid system comprises of integrated system for mobility where the humanoid can move around listening to the voice command and identifying objects/humans in the environment.
8. The system of claim 1 wherein the system comprises a DTH receiver to receive live television channels and stream the content based on the user needs.
9. The system of claim 1 wherein the humanoid robotic system can be a mobile system which can be easy to use for the users of the system on the go.
10. The system of claim 1 wherein said cloud based humanoid robot with projection system can be used in at least one of the following applications: retrieving and storing intelligent content; beaming/streaming advanced visual data for users; providing compact solution for visually enabled humanoid applications; and mobile personal assistance.
