TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is related to the field of agricultural machineries and its accessories. More specifically, the present invention provides a coconut dehusking machine for reducing the human effort in an effective manner and to reduce the coconut breakage percentage less than 1 % improving the overall machine performance.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
In the harvesting and preparation of various natural food products, including fruits and nuts, the problem of separating the outer shell or husk from the nut or meat of the fruit has been a problem existing for hundreds of years. With the advent of modern-day technology, machine and like devices have been developed, dependent upon the particular food product in question to properly separate, and/or treat the fruit so as to recover either the husk and/or the centermeat area.
Particularly, in the harvesting and commercial growing of coconuts, a problem exists in the ease of removal of the relatively hard and difficult to remove outer shell or husk portion. Coconut fruit of the type grown commercially is valuable both for the meat of the nut as well as the husk itself.
Therefore, there is a need for a coconut dehusking machine for reducing the human effort in an effective manner and to reduce the coconut breakage percentage less than 1% improving the overall machine performance.

One embodiment of the present invention relates to a coconut dehusking machine comprising of a teeth roller(b) having plurality of teeth placed across the circumference of said teeth roller; a forcing roller(a) having one or more edge across the length of said forcing roller(a1); and a holding roller having plurality of flexible flaps across the circumference of said holder roller(c), wherein the coconut is placed in between said flexible flaps thereby enabling to dehusk the coconut in between the region of said teeth roller and said forcing roller; wherein said holding roller with plurality of flaps presses the coconut against the teeth roller and the forcing roller and teeth rollers are deiven by motors through spur gears.
Further embodiment of present invention discloses that said Teeth Roller profile is U-Shape (b.1).
In a preferred embodiment of present invention, number of teeth in profile in said teeth roller is 10 in 360° (b).
In another embodiment of present invention, six composite flexible Rubber flaps are provided on the holding roller provided at 60° each to adjust the coconuts circumferences for all size and maturity of coconut and to apply even pressure on the coconut surface to reduce the coconut broken % less than 1 %(c1).
In a further embodiment of present invention, assembly orientation of teeth roller, forcing roller and holding roller) (a, b,c) is 45° with respect to horizontal plane as shown in the figure to control roller impression marks and Crack marks on coconuts and smooth exit of nuts.
Further, said machine comprises a single inlet and outlet to get 1000nuts/per hour.as shown in figure.
Because of the solution provided above, coconuts breakage percentage less than 1% is achieved, and output is 1000 coconuts per/hour. Further, the overall machine performances is also improved.
