A Composition Comprising Afghan Hing Oil, And Ylang Ylang Oil And Uses Thereof
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to combination of Afghan hing oil, and ylang ylang oil, which in particular v/v ratio range inhibits the growth of micro-organisms. The combination can be used for preparing skin care formulations for inhibiting the growth of pathogenic micro-organisms or treatment of skin infection using herbal ingredients.

Specification
Claims:1. A composition comprising
(a) Afghan hing oil;
(b) ylang ylang oil, and
(c) carrier,
wherein Afghan hing oil to ylang ylang oil v/v ratio in said composition is in the range of 4:1-1:1, and carrier to Afghan hing oil v/v ratio is in the range of 198:1-18:1.
2. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein Afghan hing oil to ylang ylang oil v/v ratio in said composition is 4:1.
3. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein Afghan hing oil to ylang ylang oil v/v ratio in said composition is 1:1.
4. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein Afghan hing oil to ylang ylang oil v/v ratio in said composition is 2:1.
5. The composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-4, further comprising at least one carrier; or (b) at least one diluent; or (c) at least one excipient.
6. A method of preparing a composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-5.
7. A method of inhibiting growth of micro-oragnisms, said method comprises the steps;
(a) obtaining a composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-5;
(b) contacting said composition with a site of microbial infection, wherein said method inhibits the growth of micro-organisms.
8. A composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-5, for use in preparing topical formulations for personal care.
