A Composition Comprising Capsaicin, And Coenzyme Q10 And Uses Thereof
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a composition comprising capsaicin and coenzyme Q10, which at particular w/w ratios exhibits enhanced expression of genes indicative of promotion of hair growth. Method of use of the said composition are also provided herein.

Specification
Claims:1. A composition comprising:
a. capsaicin; and
b. coenzyme Q10,
wherein capsaicin to coenzyme Q10 w/w ratio range in said composition is selected from the group consisting of 9:1-5.5:4.5, and 1:9-3:7.
2. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein capsaicin to coenzyme Q10 w/w ratio in said composition is in the range of 8:2-6:4.
3. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein capsaicin to coenzyme Q10 w/w ratio in said composition is 2:8.
4. The composition as claimed in claim 2, wherein capsaicin to coenzyme Q10 w/w ratio in said composition is 8:2.
5. The composition as claimed in claim 2, wherein capsaicin to coenzyme Q10 w/w ratio in said composition is 6:4.
6. The composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-5, further comprising suitable carriers, diluents, and excipients.
7. A method of promoting hair growth, said method comprising:
c. obtaining a composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-6; and
d. contacting said composition with hair follicles,
wherein said method promotes hair growth.
8. A method of preparing a composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-6.
9. A composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-6 for use in preparing topical formulations for promoting hair growth.
