A Composition Comprising Garcinia Extracts, And Uses Thereof
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to combination of extracts derived from Garcinia species, which show inhibition of intracellular fat accumulation. Also provided in the present disclosure are methods of preparing combinations of said extracts, and application of the same in weight management.

Claims:1. A composition comprising:
a. Garcinia cambogia extract; and
b. Garcinia mangostana extract,
wherein G. mangostana to G. cambogia w/w ratio in said composition is in the range of 1:2.5-1:40.
2. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein G. cambogia weight% in said composition is in the range of 0.003-0.012%, and G. mangostana weight% in said composition is in the range of 0.0003-0.0012%.
3. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein G. cambogia to G. mangostana w/w ratio in said composition is 2.5:1.
4. The composition as claimed in claim 3, wherein G. cambogia weight% in said composition is 0.003%, and G. mangostana weight% in said composition is 0.0012%.
5. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein G. cambogia to G. mangostana w/w ratio in said composition is 10:1.
6. The composition as claimed in claim 5, wherein G. cambogia weight% in said composition is 0.0075%, and G. mangostana weight% in said composition is 0.00075%.
7. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein G. cambogia to G. mangostana w/w ratio in said composition is 6.66:1.
8. The composition as claimed in claim 7, wherein G. cambogia weight% in said composition is 0.006%, and G. mangostana weight% in said composition is 0.0009%.
9. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein G. cambogia to G. mangostana w/w ratio in said composition is 15:1.
10. The composition as claimed in claim 9, wherein G. cambogia weight% in said composition is 0.009%, and G. mangostana weight% in said composition is 0.0006%.
11. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein G. cambogia to G. mangostana w/w ratio in said composition is 40:1.
12. The composition as claimed in claim 11, wherein G. cambogia weight% in said composition is 0.012%, and G. mangostana weight% in said composition is 0.003%.
13. The composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-12, further comprising suitable carriers, diluents, and excipients.
14. A method of preparing a composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-13.
15. A method of inhibiting fat accumulation, said method comprising:
a. obtaining a composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-13; and
b. contacting said composition with a site for fat accumulation,
wherein said method inhibits fat accumulation.
