Specification
CLIAMS:1. A composition comprising of:
a. fisetin; and
b. apigenin,
wherein said composition prevents balding.
2. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein fisetin to apigenin w/w ratio in said composition is in the range of 1:4-4:1, with the proviso that fisetin to apigenin w/w ratio in said composition is not 1:1.
3. A formulation comprising of a composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-2, further comprising of suitable carriers, diluents, and excipients.
4. The formulation as claimed in claim 3, wherein fisetin to apigenin w/w ratio in said formulation is in the range of 1:4-4:1, with the proviso that fisetin to apigenin w/w ratio in said formulation is not 1:1.
5. A method of preparing a composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-2, or a formulation as claimed in any of the claims 3-4.
6. A method of inhibiting balding, said method comprising of:
a. obtaining a composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-2, or a formulation as claimed in any of the claims 3-4; and
b. contacting said composition or formulation with scalp,
wherein said method inhibiting balding.
7. A composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-2, or a formulation as claimed in any of the claims 3-4 for use in inhibiting balding.
8. A composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-2, or a formulation as claimed in any of the claims 3-4 for translational inhibition of DPP7.
