Abstract: The present disclosure describes a composition comprising of a carotenoid pigment, and a peptide fragment that is effective in cosmetically inhibiting skin aging.

Specification
CLIAMS:1. A composition comprising of:
a. fucoxanthin; and
b. peptide fragment,
wherein said composition cosmetically inhibits skin aging.
2. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein said peptide fragment amino acid sequence is as set forth in SEQ ID NO: 1.
3. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein fucoxanthin to peptide w/w ratio in said composition is in the range of 1:5-1:20.
4. The composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-3, optionally further comprising of suitable carriers, diluents, and excipients.
5. A method of cosmetic inhibition of skin aging, said method comprising of:
a. obtaining a composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-4; and
b. contacting said composition with skin,
wherein said method cosmetically inhibits skin aging.
6. A composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-4 for use in cosmetic inhibition of skin aging.
