Abstract: The present disclosure provides a composition comprising of a peptide and cyanobacteria extract for anti-aging benefit. The present disclosure also provides method of preventing skin aging, and cosmetic use of said composition.

Specification
DESC:A COMPOSITION COMPRISING A PEPTIDE, AND CYANOBACTERIA EXTRACT AND USES THEREOF ,CLAIMS:1. An anti-aging composition comprising:
a. a peptide; and
b. cyanobacteria extract,
wherein said peptide is a heptapetide having amino acid sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO: 1.
2. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein said heptapetide is acetylated at the 5’ terminus.
3. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein said cyanobacteria extract is Gleocapsa extract.
4. The composition as claimed in claim 1, further comprises cosmetically acceptable carriers, diluents, and excipients.
5. The composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-4, wherein peptide to cyanobacteria extract w/w ratio in said composition is in the range of 1:0.25-1:3.
6. The composition as claimed in claim 5, wherein peptide to cyanobacteria extract w/w ratio in said composition is in the range of 1:0.5-1:1.
7. A method of preparing a composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-6.
8. A method of cosmetically inhibiting skin aging, said method comprising:
a. obtaining a composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-6; and
b. contacting said composition with skin,
wherein said composition cosmetically inhibits skin aging.
9. A composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-6 for use in preparation of topical formulations to cosmetically inhibit appearance of skin aging.
