Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a composition comprising Vaccinium oxycoccus extract, and Moringa oleifera seed extract for immune modulation. The disclosure also provides for a method of using the composition in pathogen infected condition for modulating host immune response to pathogen infestation.

Specification
Claims:1. A composition comprising:
a. Vaccinium Oxycoccus extract; and
b. Moringa oleifera seed extract,
wherein Vaccinium oxycoccus extract to Moringa oleifera seed extract w/w ratio in said composition is in the range of 1:5-20:1.
2. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein Vaccinium oxycoccus extract weight concentration in the said composition is in the range of 0.005-0.1% and Moringa oleifera seed extract weight concentration in the said composition is in the range of 0.005-0.025%.
3. The composition as claimed in claim 2, wherein Vaccinium oxycoccus extract to Moringa oleifera seed extract w/w ratio in said composition is 10:1.
4. The composition as claimed in claim 2, wherein Vaccinium oxycoccus extract to Moringa oleifera seed extract w/w ratio in said composition is 9:1.
5. The composition as claimed in claim 2, wherein Vaccinium oxycoccus extract to Moringa oleifera seed extract w/w ratio in said composition is 4:1.
6. The composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-5 further comprising suitable diluents, excipients, and carriers.
7. A method of preparing a composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-6.
8. A method for modulating immune response, said method comprising the steps:
(a) obtaining a composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-6 and;
(b) contacting said composition with site of immune response,
wherein said method modulates immune response.
9. A composition as claimed in claim 1 for use in preparation of oral formulations to modulate the immune response.
