A Composition For Enhancing The Effect Of Chlorogenic Acid On The Inflammatory Response
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a composition and method for modulating the inflammatory response. In particular, the present disclosure relates to a composition of chlorogenic acid, and vitamin D that enhances the effect of chlorogenic acid alone on modulating the inflammatory response. The present disclosure also provides a method, and food products, for modulating the physiological inflammatory response.

Specification
CLIAMS:1. A composition comprising:
a. chlorogenic acid; and
b. vitamin D
wherein, said composition enhances the effect of chlorogenic acid on modulating the inflammatory response.
2. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the concentration of chlorogenic acid is in the range of 5µM-100µM.
3. The composition as claimed in claim 2, wherein the concentration of chlorogenic acid is 50µM.
4. The composition as claimed in claim1, wherein the concentration of vitamin D is 1µM.
5. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the molar ratio of chlorogenic acid to vitamin D is 100:1 to 1:1.
6. The composition as claimed in claim 5, wherein the molar ratio of chlorogenic acid to vitamin D is 50:1.
7. A food product comprising the composition as claimed in claim 1.
8. A method for modulating the inflammatory response, wherein said method comprises oral administration to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of said food product as claimed in claim 7.
9. The method as claimed in claim 8, wherein the oral administration can be in the form of a solid or a liquid. ,TagSPECI:As Attached
