Claims:1. A composition comprising:
(a) climbazole; and
(b) at least one salt of silver,
wherein climbazole to the at least one salt of silver w/w ratio in said composition is in the range of 1:0.5-1:5.
2. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein climbazole to the at least one salt of silver w/w ratio in said composition is 1:1.
3.The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one salt of silver is selected from the group consisting of silver nitrate, silver bromide, silver iodide, silver chloride, silver zeolite, silver sulfadiazine, and combinations thereof.
4. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one salt of silver is silver nitrate.
5. The composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-4, further comprising:
(a) at least one carrier;
(b) at least one diluent; and
(c) at least one excipient.
6. A method for preparing a composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-4, comprising:
(a) obtaining climbazole;
(b) obtaining the at least one salt of silver; and
(c) contacting climbazole and the at least one salt of silver to obtain said composition.
7. A method for preparing a composition as claimed in any of the claims 1- 5, comprising:
(a) obtaining climbazole;
(b) obtaining the at least one salt of silver;
(c) obtaining the at least one carrier;
(d) obtaining the at least one diluent;
(e) obtaining the at least one excipient; and
(f) contacting climbazole, the at least one salt of silver, the at least one carrier, the at least one diluent, and the at least one excipient to obtain said composition.
8. A method of inhibiting skin and scalp infection, said method comprising:
(a) obtaining a composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-5; and
(b) contacting said composition with skin and scalp,
wherein said composition inhibits microbial growth.
9. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein said composition inhibits the microbial growth of Candida albicans, Staphylococcus aureus, and Escherichia coli.
