We Claim:
1. A cooking apparatus (100) for cooking food, the cooking apparatus (100)
comprising:
a body (10);
5 a substantially hemi-toroidal shaped container (20b) connectable to the
body (10);
a lid (20a) removably connectable to the container (20b), the lid (20a)
being substantially hemi-toroidal shaped, and the lid (20a) connectable to the
container (20b) to form a substantially toroidal shaped cooking vessel (20); and
10 one or more stirring members (40, 42, 44) disposed within the container
(20b), the one or more stirring members (40, 42, 44) configured to be movable
within the container (20b), along a central axis (A) of the container (20b).
2. The cooking apparatus (100) as claimed in claim 1, comprises a storage section
defined within the body (10), the storage section being accessible by a door (14)
15 selectively operable between a closed condition and an open condition, and
wherein the door (14) includes a compliant hinge joint (13) structured to
facilitate operation of the door (14) between the closed condition and the open
condition.
20 3. The cooking apparatus (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the lid (20a) upon
being secured to container (20b) forms the substantially toroidal shaped cooking
vessel (20), to define a toroidal shaped cooking space therebetween.
4. The cooking apparatus (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the one or more
25 stirring members (40, 42) is a substantially hemi-spherical shaped hollow
member, the one or more stirring members (40, 42) coupled to a hub (50) of the
container (20b), and the one or more stirring members (40, 42) configured to be
movable along an axis of revolution (B) of the substantially hemi-toroidal
shaped container (20b).

5. The cooking apparatus (100) as claimed in claim 4, wherein the one or more
stirring members (40, 42) include a first stirring member (40) and a second
stirring member (42) disposed within the hemi-toroidal shaped container (20b),
and wherein a convex surface (40b) of the first stirring member (40) and the
5 convex surface (40b) of the second stirring member (42) are positioned to face
each other.
6. The cooking apparatus (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the one or more
stirring members (40, 42) is a tube-shaped stirring member (44), the tube10 shaped stirring member (44) angled along its axis of revolution (B) to be
disposed within the toroidal shaped cooking vessel (20), and wherein the one or
more stirring members (44) is a substantially macaroni shaped stirring member
(44) structured to be disposed within the hemi-toroidal shaped container (20b).
15 7. The cooking apparatus (100) as claimed in claim 6, wherein the at least one of
the tube-shaped stirring member (44) and the substantially macaroni shaped
stirring member (44) include a first opening (47) defined a proximal end (45)
and a second opening (48) defined a distal end (46), and wherein a
circumference of the first opening (47) being configured to be larger than a
20 circumference of the second opening (48).
8. The cooking apparatus (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the substantially
hemi-toroidal shaped container (20b) being configured to derive at least one of
heat and electric energy from the body (10), to heat food material included
25 within the toroidal shaped cooking vessel (20), and wherein the one or more
stirring members (40, 42, 44) are configured to have regulated movement for
compaction and compression of the food material included within the toroidal
shaped cooking vessel (20).
30 9. The cooking apparatus (100) as claimed in claim 1, comprises a pair of handles
(21a, 21b) coupled to the container (20b), the pair of handles (21a, 21b)
positioned along an outer circumference of the container (20b) with a distance

therebetween, and wherein the pair of handles (21a, 21b) are configured to
facilitate alignment of the container (20b) relative to the body (10).
10. The cooking apparatus (100) as claimed in claim 1, comprises a coupler (30)
5 positioned on the body (10), the coupler (30) configured to facilitate securing
of the container (20b) to the body (10), the coupler (30) configured to impart at
least one of heat and electric energy to the container (20b), and wherein the
coupler (30) includes a spindle (60) configured to impart rotary movement to
the hub (50) of the container (20b).
