Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel and cost effective method of producing a 500 base pair ladder using Pci-Neo vectors. The present invention also relates to a synthetically made Pci-Neo Vector containing a gene segment from synthetic sequence having 4522 base pairs introduced with EcoRV restriction sites at appropriate positions. The present invention discloses a method for producing 500 base pair ladder using Pci-Neo vectors has an advantage of being quite cost effective and efficient in analysis.
