DESC:TITLE OF THE INVENTION: DEMOUNTABLE PARTITION SYSTEM
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present disclosure is generally related to a demountable room partition system for superior space management, enhancing transparency, and acoustic performance.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
In the past, inter-office partitioning systems have been provided as aluminum partitions with visible seals, and hardware and centre glass partition, with no option for framed door and independent partition sliding door.
Generally, prior to the installation of inter-office partitioning systems, a site plan is prepared to indicate the office cabins, the conference rooms, stairs or lobby, corridor walls or opening areas, and so on.
In addition to the requirement for partition, there is a requirement that the partition should enable advanced degree of acoustic isolation in certain zones in the office (for example, conference rooms, board rooms, and the like) for preventing leakage of information.
In the context of a pantry facility or a recreation room, the surrounding partition should still be sound-proof to prevent the noise from becoming a disturbance to the employees in the adjacent working area
To solve space constraints, an establishment may span across multiple levels of a building or across multiple locations. In such conditions, there is also a need for an automatic door.
There are several drawbacks with existing room partitioning systems. First, they are not capable of integrating with all door configurations, such as manual or automated doors, sliding or swing doors, and double leaf or double action hinge doors.
Second, they are not adaptable for single room partitioning systems.
Third, they are not deployable for partitioning applications, in conjunction with: doors provided with fixtures and accessories; ceilings, inclusive of sub-structure (such as false ceilings); and floors as well, in addition to not being usable with glass or other materials of varying thickness.
Fourth, they cannot be integrated with a door without side or overhead panel or with a door with side or overhead panel, adaptable to single-glazing applications.
In addition, the state of the art methods of fabricating such systems involves complicated manufacturing methods.
There is, therefore, a need in the art for a demountable partition system, which overcomes the aforementioned drawbacks and shortcomings.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
A demountable partition system for single-glazing applications and double-glazing applications is disclosed. Said demountable partition system for single-glazing applications broadly comprises: an at least a single glaze base frame; an at least a single glaze base support frame; an at least a single glaze door frame; an at least a single glaze overhead profile; an at least a door horizontal profile; an at least a door vertical profile; an at least a door clip profile; an at least a door cover profile; an at least a pivot door profile; an at least a pinch-free profile; an at least a first stick-on profile; and an at least a second stick-on profile.
Said at least one single glaze base frame broadly comprises: an at least a base clamp profile; an at least a base clip profile; and an at least a base single glaze cover profile.
Said at least one single glaze base support frame broadly comprises: an at least a base support clamp profile; and said at least one base single glaze cover profile.
Said at least one single glaze door frame broadly comprises: an at least a single glaze door frame profile; and an at least a door rebating profile.
Said at least one single glaze overhead profile broadly comprises: an at least an overhead clip profile; and an at least an overhead cover profile.
Said demountable partition system for double-glazing applications broadly comprises: an at least a double glaze base frame; an at least a double glaze base support frame; an at least a double glaze door frame; an at least a double glaze overhead profile; an at least a double glaze pocket door recess profile; an at least a solid wall interface profile; an at least a carpet transition profile; and an at least a track profile.
Said at least one base profile is configured to be common for both single-glazing, as well as double-glazing applications.
The disclosed system offers minimal frame and room dividing solutions for interior glass partition applications. The system comprises profiles suitable for single fixed partition glass (toughened and laminated glasses). Minimal frame is to be configured depending upon the layout and glass thickness, based on the requirement.
The disclosed system also offers common door profile for both swing and sliding doors, for frameless and framed single action doors up to 100 kg, and manual sliding door elements up to 80 kg weight capacity, suitable for installation on walls, floors, and ceilings.
