A Device For Connecting A Shift Cable And A Shifter Shaft Of A Gearbox

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a device (100) for connecting a shift cable (1) and a shifter shaft (3) of a gearbox (2). The device includes a connecting member (7) integrated with a bearing housing (9), where the connecting member (7) is adjustably connectable with a support plate (8) mounted on the gearbox (2). A first yoke (4) is positioned in the bearing housing and connectable to the shift cable. A second yoke (5) is connectable between the first yoke and the shifter shaft (3), where the second yoke and the first yoke are configured to actuate the shifter shaft. Adjustable connecting the connecting member (7) with the support plate (8) selectively aligns the first yoke (4) with the shift cable for connecting the shift cable and the shifter shaft. This configuration of the device aids in connecting the shift cable and the shifter shaft, without the need of bending the cable.
