Abstract: In accordance with the present invention, the device for insertion of dowel in bracket and check strap assembly comprising first member (1) with first lever (2) having dowel retainer (4) at its front portion configured to retain resilient means in its hole (9); second member (5) with second lever (6) having at least two arms to constitute deep groove(6"); dowel pusher member (8) configured to align with said hole (9) of said dowel retainer (4) mounted pivotally in said groove by first pivoting means (7); said first lever (2) and said second lever (6) are pivotally mounted by second pivoting means (7") in said groove to facilitate said dowel pusher member (8) to push the dowel pins for insertion; said first lever (2) portion constitutes a small channel (10) configured for guiding said dowel pin during insertion.

PREAMBLE TO THE DESCRIPTION
The following specification particularly describes the invention and the manner in which it is to be performed.


FIELD OF INVENTION
This invention is related to the spring dowel insertion device and more particularly it relates to the device for insertion of spring dowel in the bracket and check strap assembly.
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
Generally the spring dowel and check strap are used to attach the door of vehicle to the vehicle body. Brackets and check strap assembly comprises holes on both the said bracket and check strap to be aligned. The said spring dowel is then placed in the dolly. The said dolly is located on the said hole. After the proper alignment, the force is applied through the hammer on the said dolly to insert the said spring dowel in the predetermined place. Due to the non uniform force application by hammering there is a chance of bending of said bracket .The mis -hammering can damage the paint applied and can lead to damage of door panel body side outer. The access for hammering on the said dolly is inadequate and it is difficult to align said holes on assembled vehicle. This is crude and laborious process apart from the skilled operator required to perform this operation.
In order to overcome the above said limitations, this new tool has been developed which is meant for insertion of spring dowel in the bracket and check strap assembly of automobile doors on assembled vehicle.
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The main object of the present invention is to provide a device for insertion of spring dowel in bracket and check strap assembly.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a method of insertion of spring dowel in bracket and check strap assembly.

Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a method of assembly of said device.
Still another object of the present invention is to provide a device for insertion of spring dowel in bracket and check strap assembly which is simply in construction, easy to handle and operate.
STATEMENT OF INVENTION
Accordingly the present invention discloses device for insertion of dowel in
bracket and check strap assembly comprising
first member with first lever having dowel retainer at its front portion configured to
retain resilient means in its hole;
second member with second lever having at least two arms to constitute deep
groove;
dowel pusher member configured to align with said hole of said dowel retainer is
mounted pivotally in said groove by first pivoting means;
said first lever and said second lever are pivotally mounted by second pivoting
means in said groove to facilitate said dowel pusher member to push the dowel pins
for insertion;
said first lever portion constitutes a small channel configured for guiding dowel
during insertion.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION
In accordance with the present invention, the devices for insertion of dowel in
bracket and check strap assembly comprises;
First member (1) having first lever (2) which comprises U shaped groove (3) on
front portion of said first lever (2). said first lever (2) also comprises spring dowel
retainer ( 4 ) on front portion. Said first member (1) is made up of metal preferably
steel.
Second member (5) with second lever (6) having at least two arm configured to constitute deep groove (6') for disposing the first lever (2) of first member (1). Said second lever portion (6) comprises first pivot means (7) and second pivot means (7').
Wherein said groove (6') of said second lever (6) comprises first pivot means (7) for pivotally mounting the dowel pusher member (8) . Said dowel pusher member (8) extends up to the holes (9) provided at front portion of the said first lever portion (2) . The said hole (9) on the spring dowel retainer (4) is in alignment with the said dowel pusher member (8) which is pivotally mounted on the said second lever portion (6).
The second pivot means (7') is provided to facilitate the said first lever (2) of said first member (1) to pivotally mount on the second lever (6) adapted pivot about its axis enabling the said dowel pusher member (8) to push the dowel pins.
Said dowel retainer means (4) provided on the front portion of said first lever (2) of first member (1) comprises resilient means like spring.

DETAIL DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION
Referring now to the drawings wherein the showings are for the purpose of illustrating a preferred embodiment of the invention only, and not for the purpose of limiting the same.
Now referring to figure 1-3,
In accordance with the present invention, the device for insertion of dowel in
bracket and check strap assembly comprises;
First member (1) having first lever (2) which comprises U shaped groove (3) on
front portion of said first lever (2). Said first lever (2) also comprises spring dowel
retainer ( 4 ) on front portion. Said first member (1) is made up of metal preferably
steel.
Second member (5) with second lever (6) having at least two arm configured to constitute deep groove (6') for pivotally disposing the first lever (2) of first member (1) with second lever (6). Said second lever portion (6) comprises first pivot means (7) and second pivot means (7').
Wherein said groove (6') of said second lever (6) comprises first pivot means (7) for pivotally mounting the dowel pusher member (8).
Said dowel pusher member (8) extends up to the hole (9) provided on said spring dowel retainer (4). The said hole (9) is in alignment with the said dowel pusher member (8) which is pivotally mounted on the said second lever (6).
The second pivot means (7') is provided to facilitate the said second lever portion (6) of said second member (5) to pivot about its axis which enables the said dowel pusher member (8) to push the dowel pin.

Said dowel retainer means (4) comprises hole (9) having resilient means like spring is provided on the front portion of said first lever portion (2) of first member (1).
The said U shaped groove (3) provided on the first lever portion (2) comprises small channel (10) for guiding the spring dowel while the said dowel pusher member (8) pushes the dowel pin.
Said dowel pusher member (8) disposed in the said slot (6') at front side and is connected to the said second lever (6) with the help of pivot means (7) such that when said second lever (6) pivots about second pivot means (7') , the said dowel pusher member (8) pushes the dowel pin disposed in the said dowel retainer means (4) for inserting it for connecting the bracket and check strap assembly to the vehicle body.
The said dowel pusher member (8) extends up to the said hole (9) provided in said retainer means (4) at top portion of the said first lever (2) , the said hole (9) on the said first lever portion is in alignment with the said dowel pusher member (8).
Said first pivot means (7) is used to pivotally connect the said dowel pusher member (8) to the two arms of said second lever (6) of the said second member (5) and said second pivot means (7') is used to pivotally connect said first lever (2) with second lever (6) of said first member (1) and second member (5) respectively.
Said dowel retainer (4) comprises resilient means like spring which is provided in the hole (9) on Said first lever member (2) of first member (1).
The said devices is easy to operate and simple in construction. Offers easiness to align the holes of bracket with check strap assembly to insert dowel pin for connecting the doors to the vehicle body. Since there is no hammering action so there is no damage to paint and panel of vehicle body.. It's easy to use in small

space. Semi skilled person can perform the job with this device. There is no fear of bending the bracket since there is no hammering action.
The foregoing description is a specific embodiment of the present invention. It should be appreciated that this embodiment is described for purpose of illustration only, and that numerous alterations and modifications may be practiced by those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. It is intended that all such modifications and alterations be included insofar as they come within the scope of the invention as claimed or the equivalents thereof.

WE CLAIM
1. A Device for insertion of dowel in bracket and check strap assembly
comprising
first member with first lever having dowel retainer at its front portion configured to retain resilient means in its hole;
second member with second lever having at least two arms to constitute deep groove;
dowel pusher member configured to align with said hole of said dowel retainer mounted pivotally in said groove by first pivoting means;
said first lever and said second lever are pivotally mounted by second pivoting means in said groove to facilitate said dowel pusher member to push the dowel pins for insertion;
said first lever portion constitutes a small channel configured for guiding said dowel pin during insertion.
2. The device for insertion of dowel as claimed in claim 1, wherein said groove on said second lever portion is configured to adapt said first pivot means and said second pivot means.
3. The device for insertion of dowel as claimed in claim 1, wherein said resilient means is spring.
4. The device for insertion of dowel as claimed in claim 1, wherein said dowel pusher member extends up to said hole on said dowel retainer.
5. The device for insertion of dowel as claimed in claim 1, wherein said dowel pusher configured to push said dowel pin disposed in said dowel retainer to insert in bracket and check strap assembly.
