DESC:TECHNICAL FIELD
The present invention is relation to a device for packing machines. The device (A) of present invention enables packaging different machine models of similar or varied size in the same pallet design with minimal adjustment to pallet parts. The device (A) of present invention also enables concurrent packing of multiple machines of varied or same dimensions by addition and adjustment of few pallet parts. The method and material involved in the fabrication of the device (A) offer advantage of its reusability. The packing device (A) can be adopted for transit of multiple machines cost effectively.

BACKGROUND
Transport of large machines is done in wooden packing boxes which involve wooden logs and compressed wooden boards. The machines are required to be packed individually to mitigate the damage. Said existing packing approach is associated with huge cost, labour, time, and carbon footprint. Inventory and stacking of the wooden logs/boards is a difficult task owing to different weather conditions.
It is pertinent to develop appropriate cost effective and reusable packing approach that is sustainable for transportation of multiple machines maintaining their coherence.
OBJECTS OF INVENTION
An object of the present invention is to provide a device for packing machines suitable for their transportation.
Another object of the invention is to provide a device for packing one or more machines coherently for their transportation.
Another object of the invention is to reduce the usage of wood in the packing device.
Another object of the invention is to develop a device for packing machines that is reusable.
Another object of the invention is to lift the machine(s) in packed condition using lifting beam during the loading process on to a transportation vehicle.
Another object of the invention is to provide a method of fabrication of a device that aids in the transportation of one or more machines without damaging the features of the machines.
Another object of the invention is to provide a method of facile packaging of machines.
Another object of the invention is to develop an economical method of fabrication of a device for packing multiple machines, for their transportation.

STATEMENT OF INVENTION
Accordingly the present invention provides a device (A) for packing machines of varied or same dimensions for their transportation cost effectively.
Another aspect of the present invention provides a device (A) for packing multiple machines of varied or same dimensions for their transportation cost effectively.
An aspect of present invention provides device (A) comprising metal base pallet (101) and outer cover (103) held by a framework of beams (102).
Another aspect of present invention provides a method of fabrication of device (A) for packing multiple machines of varied or same dimensions, comprising steps wherein,
- two or more metal square tubes (104) are positioned in “C” shaped section tubes (105) and held together by connection brackets (106) with bolts. Three or more spacers (108) are connected on to the metal square tubes (104) for housing anchors (109) to accommodate the machines, wherein the anchor (109) is fixed on the spacers (108) on the metal tubes (104) nut and bolts. All together form the Pallet (101)
An outer frame (102) is constructed by mounting four vertical beams (110) at the corners on to Pillar holder plates (113) which are welded to the C-shaped by fasteners (115). These vertical beams are further interconnected byhorizontal beams (111) and (112). Finally, the frame is enveloped by an outer cover (103).
The invention also provides a method for packaging machines adopting device (A).

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION
The present invention is in relation to a device (A) for packing machines, its method of fabrication and adoption for packaging one or plurality of machines. The packing device (A) is adopted for facile transportation of the machines economically.
The foregoing description of the embodiments of the invention has been presented for the purpose of illustration. It is not intended to be exhaustive or to limit the invention to the precise form disclosed as many modifications and variations are possible in light of this disclosure for a person skilled in the art in view of the figures, and description. It may further be noted that as used herein, the singular forms "a", "an", and "the" include plural reference unless the context clearly dictates otherwise. Unless defined otherwise, all technical and scientific terms used herein have the same meanings as commonly understood by person skilled in the art.
The present invention relates to a packing device (A) for machine comprising-
a metal base pallet (101) and an outer cover (103) held by framework of beams (102); wherein
the pallet (101) comprises metal tubes (104) positioned in “C” shaped section tubes (105) and held together by brackets (106) with bolts and nuts;
the framework of beams (102) comprises vertical beams (110) mounted at corners of“C” shaped section tube with pre welded pillar holder plates (113) and interconnected by horizontal beams (111) (112);
the outer cover (103) envelop through the framework of beams (102);
wherein
the metal tubes (104) are connected with spacers (108) for housing anchors (109);
the Spacers (108) are fixed on the metal tubes (104);
the anchor (109) with cushioning material (114) is housed in a slot of spacers (108) to hold foundation bolt (107) through nut and bolts.
In an embodiment of invention, the metal tubes (104) and “C” section tubes (105) are of steel material.
In still another embodiment of invention, the cushioning material (114) is selected from wood or rubber.
In still another embodiment of invention, the outer cover (103) is selected from a group comprising like tarpaulin, polymer sheet or metal sheet.
In still another embodiment of invention, the device (A) is adopted for packing one or more machines.
The present invention is also in relation to a method of packaging machines with packing device (A), said method comprising acts of-
a) arranging metal square beams (104) with spacers (108) and locking between two “C” shaped section tube (105) with connection bracket (106);
b) housing anchors (109) with cushioning material (114) on the spacers (108) and locking to form a pallet (101);
c) placing the machine through its foundation points on the anchors (109) of the pallet (101);
d) mounting outer frame(102) and locking at corners of “C” section beams of the pallet (101), with help of pillar holder plates (113); and
e) wrapping outer frame (102) with outer cover (103) to complete the packaging of machine.
The invention is also in relation to a method of packaging machines with packing device (A) as claimed in claim 1-5, said method comprising acts of-
a) arranging metal square beams (104) with spacers (108) and locking between two “C” shaped section tube (105) with connection bracket (106);
b) housing anchors (109) with cushioning material (114) on the spacers (108) and locking to form a pallet (101);
c) mounting outer frame (102) and locking at corners of “C” section beams of the pallet (101), with help of pillar holder plates (113);
d) placing the machine through its foundation points on the anchors (109) of the pallet (101); and
e) wrapping outer frame (102) with outer cover (103) and sealing connecting surface to complete the packaging of machine.
In yet another embodiment of invention, the packaging is water proof and dust proof.
In yet another embodiment of invention, two or more machines are packed with spacers (108) separating the machines.
The packing device (A) of present invention comprises metal base pallet (101) and outer cover (103) held by framework of beams (102). The figure (1) depicts a typical packing device (A).
In an embodiment of the invention, the figure 2 illustrate the pallet (101) comprising two or more metal tubes (104) positioned in “C” shaped section tubes (105) and held together by connection brackets (106) with bolts and nuts.The number of the metal tubes and their positioning in the “C” shaped section tubes (105) are alterable based on the type of machines to be packed.
In an embodiment, the metal tubes (104) and “C” section tubes (105) are of mild steel material.
In another embodiment of the invention, the metal tubes (104) are connected with three or more spacers (108) (figure 3) for housing anchors (109) to accommodate the machines.
In another embodiment of the invention, the Spacers (108) are fixed on the metal square tubes (104) by welding. The anchor (109) holds the foundation bolt (107) and is adjustable in the slots of spacers (108) according to foundation points of machine and is fixed on the spacers (108) through nut and bolts after adjustment.

In another embodiment of the invention, plurality of spacers (108) with plurality of anchors (109) with necessary foundation bolts (107) are fixed on the metal square tubes (104) for housing plurality of machines.
In another embodiment, cushioning material (114) is placed on the anchors (109) to provide damping to the machine packed. The cushioning material is of material selected from wood or rubber.
In an embodiment, four vertical beams (110) are mounted on 4 corners of “C”shaped section tube with help of pre welded pillar holder plates (113) and locked. The vertical beams are interconnected by horizontal beams (111) (112) together to form an outer frame (102).
In an embodiment, the device (A) is enveloped with a polymer sheet material (103) through the outer frame (102). The material can be selected from a group of materials like tarpaulin, thick polymer sheets or metal sheet.
During long-distance transport, the outer cover (103) features a durable metal construction. An L-angle frame provides the foundation, reinforced with square tubes for added rigidity. The entire frame is clad and welded with 0.5mm thick GI (Galvanized Iron) sheets, and all connecting surfaces are sealed with duct tape to prevent water seepage and for superior protection (Figure 11).
In an embodiment of present invention, the pallet (101) of device (A) can be disassembled and reassembled as necessary in a facile manner for reuse of packing machines. Thus, enabling the device (A) to be reused more than 10 times.
The present invention is also related to method of fabrication of the device (A) comprising acts- wherein two or more metal tubes (104) are positioned in “C” shaped section tubes (105) and held together by connection brackets (106) with bolts to form Pallet (101);
two or more spacers (108) are connected on the metal tubes (104) of pallet (101) for housing anchors (109) to accommodate the machines, wherein the anchor(109) is fixed on the spacers (108) on the metal tubes (104) through nuts and bolts;
mounting four vertical beams (110) on 4 corners of “C”shaped section tube with help of pre welded pillar holder plates (113) and locking it, wherein the vertical pillar (110) are inter connected by horizontal (111) (112) to form the outer frame (102); and enveloping the outer frame (102) with a suitable material outer cover (103).The packaged machine or machines in the device (A) is using the lifting beam on to a transportation vehicle (figure 10).
The present invention provides a method of packaging machines with packing device (A) and the method comprises acts of-
a) arranging metal square beams (104) with spacers (108) and locking between two “C” shaped section tube (105) with connection bracket (106);
b) housing anchors (109) with cushioning material (114) on the spacers(108) and locking to form a pallet (101);
c) placing the machine through its foundation points on the anchors (109) of the
pallet(101);
d) mounting outer frame(102) and locking at corners of “C” section beams of the
pallet (101), with help of pillar holder plates (113); and
e) wrapping outer frame (102) with outer cover (103) to complete the packaging of
machine.
Alternatively, the method of packaging machines with packing device (A) comprises acts of-
a) arranging metal square beams (104) with spacers (108) and locking between two “C” shaped section tube (105) with connection bracket (106);
b) housing anchors (109) with cushioning material (114) on the spacers (108) and locking to form a pallet (101);
c) placing the machine through its foundation points on the anchors (109) of the pallet (101);
d) mounting outer frame (102) and locking at corners of “C” section beams of the
pallet (101), with help of pillar holder plates (113); and
e) wrapping outer frame (102) with outer cover (103) to complete the packaging of
machine.
In an embodiment of present invention, plurality of machines are packed by placing spacers (108) between the machines.

Fabrication of Device (A) and method of assembling machines on Device (A) for their transportation.

The examples herein are provided for illustration only. The method of fabrication of device (A) and assembling of machines on device (A) is exemplified for the machine models 1-7 depicted in the figure 9

General method:
The device (A) is fabricated; different machines are assembled on the device and tested for the feasibility of their transportation. Single and plurality of machines of similar sizes, and having different foundation resting points are adopted. The machine(s) are placed on the pallet (101) of device (A) such that the foundation points rest on damping wooden blocks (114) and locked through the foundation bolts (107) to anchor (109).
The anchor (109) which holds the foundation bolt (107) is adjusted in the slot provided in the spacers (108) and then fixed with bolts, according to the foundation point’s dimension of the particular machine being transported.

Example 1: Device (A) to hold machine model 1 and model 2

The three metal square beams (104) are arranged such that the A and B distance as depicted in figure 4 and figure 8 are 714mm and 500mm respectively. The metal square beams (104) are locked to C section beam (105) in said position using connection brackets (106) to form the base Pallet (101).
The machine model 1 and model 2 have five foundation points and hence five anchors (109) with foundation bolts (107) in them, the foundation bolts sit in the thread of anchors and are needed for machine mounting. The anchors (109) are then arranged on spacers (108) such that C distance as depicted in figure 4 and figure 8 is 715mm; and locked in the position with help of boltson metal tubes.
Wooden blocks are placed on the anchors (109) to act as damping material. The machine model 1 is placed on the wooden blocks such that the foundation points pass through the machine foundation points. After resting each machine completely, it is locked in the position with nuts on foundation bolts (figure 6).
Optionally, at this stage other accessories such as tool box, levelling pads are mounted on base pallet and the machine is sprayed with anti-rust spray and wrapped with plastic sheets, leaving provision for lifting of whole setup.

Later the vertical pillars (110) along with horizontal members (111) (112) forming the outer frame (102) is mounted and locked at four corners of “C” section beams with help of pre welded pillar holder plates (113) (figure 7).
The machine along with the pallet (101) and outer frame (102) is lifted using lifting beam (L) (figure 10) and placed on the vehicle. Finally the outer cover (103) made of tarpaulin sheet is enveloped around the outer frame (102) to complete the packing ready for transportation.
During long distance transport, the outer cover (103) features a durable metal construction. An L-angle frame provides the foundation, reinforced with square tubes(S) for added rigidity. The entire frame is clad and welded with 0.5mm thick GI (Galvanized Iron) sheets or steel sheet (103), and all connecting surfaces are sealed with duct tape to prevent water seepage and for superior protection (Figure 11).

Example 2: Device (A) to hold machine model 3

The three metal square beams (104) are arranged such that the A and B distance as depicted in figure 4 and figure 8 is 889mm and 500mm respectively. The metal square beams (104) are locked to C section beam (105) in said position using connection brackets (106) to form the base Pallet (101).
The machine model 3 has five foundation points and hence five anchors (109) with foundation bolts (107) in them (foundation bolts sit in the thread of anchors) are needed for machine mounting. The anchors (109) are then arranged on spacers (108) such that C distance as depicted in figure 4 and figure 8 is 715mm and are locked in this position with help of bolts & nuts.

The machine model (3) is placed on the wooden blocks such that the foundation bolts pass through the machine foundation points. After resting the machine completely, it is locked in said position with nuts on foundation bolts (figure 6).

The entire frame is clad and welded with 0.5mm thick GI (Galvanized Iron) sheets (103), and all connecting surfaces are sealed with duct tape to prevent water seepage and for superior protection (Figure 11).

Example 3: Device (A) to hold machine model 4 and model 5

The three metal square beams (104) are arranged such that the A and B distance as depicted in the figure 4 and figure 8 is 874mm and 614mm respectively. The metal square beams (104) are locked to C section beam (105) in this position using connection bracket (106) to form the base Pallet (101).

The machine model 4 and model 5 has six foundation points and hence six anchors (109) with foundation bolts (107) in them, the foundation bolts sit in the thread of anchors are needed for machine mounting. The anchors (109) are then arranged on spacers (108) such that C distance (figures 5(a, b and c) is 1100mm and 1040mm respectively, and are locked in said position with help of bolts and nuts.
The wooden blocks are placed on the anchors (109), which act as damping material. The machine is now placed on the wooden blocks such that the foundation bolts pass through the machine foundation points. After resting the machine completely, it is locked in said position with nuts on foundation bolts (figure 6).

Example 4: Device (A) to hold machine model 6 and model 7

The three metal square beams (104) are arranged such that the A and B distance as depicted in figure 5 (a, b and c) between them is 714mm and 475mm respectively. The metal square beams (104) are locked to C section beam (105) in this position using connection bracket (106) to form the base Pallet (101).
The machine model 6 and model 7 has five foundation points and hence five anchors (109) with foundation bolts (107) are needed for their mounting. The anchors (109) are then arranged on spacers (108) such that C distance (figure 5(c)) is 865mm and 600mm, and are locked in this position with help of bolts & nuts.
The wooden blocks are placed on the anchors (109), which act as damping material. The machine is now placed on the wooden blocks such that the foundation bolts pass through the machine foundation points. After resting the machine completely, it is locked in said position with nuts on foundation bolts (figure 6).
At this stage other accessories such as tool box, levelling pads are also mounted on base pallet and the machine is sprayed with anti-rust spray and wrapped with plastic sheets, leaving provision for lifting of whole setup.

Device (A) to hold machine multiple machines concurrently
Based on the dimension of the machine and its foundation points, number of metal square beams (104) can be increased and attached to C section beam (105). The spacers (108) can also be placed on each square beam (104) depending on the foundation point dimensions. Now fine adjustments can be done by moving the anchors (109) in the slots provided in spacers, according to the foundation points of machine. The wooden blocks (114) on anchors and then each machine are rested such that foundation points match with anchor. Machines are locked in this position. The outer frame (102) is mounted at 4 corners of pallet (101) with help of pillar holder plates (113). Finally the packing is completed by placing the outer cover (103) around outer frame (102).

The device (A) aids in transporting machines without any geometry (accuracy) change in machine dynamics and deformations in Base pallet. The cost involved in the fabrication of packing device (A) is reduced by 75% considering the nature of materials, minimisation of labour involved; the reuse of the device for over 10 times adds to the advantage. The device (A) also reduces the carbon footprint involved as the usage of wood is reduced significantly, thus offering environmentally benign solution for packing of one or plurality of machines.
,CLAIMS:We Claim

1. A packing device (A) for machine comprising-
a metal base pallet (101) and an outer cover (103) held by framework of beams (102); wherein
the pallet (101) comprises metal tubes (104) positioned in “C” shaped section tubes (105) and held together by brackets (106) with bolts and nuts;
the framework of beams (102) comprises vertical beams (110) mounted at corners of “C” shaped section tube with pre-welded pillar holder plates (113) and interconnected by horizontal beams (111) (112);
the outer cover (103) envelop through the framework of beams (102);
wherein
the metal tubes (104) are connected with spacers (108) for housing anchors (109);
the Spacers (108) are fixed on the metal tubes (104);
the anchor (109) with cushioning material (114) ishoused in a slot of spacers (108) to hold foundation bolt (107) through nut and bolts.
2. The packing device (A) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the metal tubes (104) and “C” section tubes (105) are of steel material.
3. The packing device (A) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the cushioning material (114) is selected from wood or rubber.
4. The packing device (A) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the outer cover (103) is selected from a group comprising like tarpaulin, polymer sheet or metal sheet.
5. The packing device (A) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the device (A) is adopted for packing one or more machines.
6. A method of packaging machines with packing device (A) as claimed in claim 1-5, said method comprising acts of-
a) arranging metal square beams (104) with spacers (108) and locking between two “C” shaped section tube (105) with connection bracket (106);
b) housing anchors (109) with cushioning material (114) on the spacers(108) and locking to form a pallet(101);
c) placing the machine through its foundation points on the anchors
(109) of the pallet (101);
d) mounting outer frame(102) and locking at corners of “C” section beams of the pallet
(101), with help of pillar holder plates (113); and
e) wrapping outer frame (102) with outer cover (103) to complete the packaging of
machine.
7. A method of packaging machines with packing device (A) as claimed in claim 1-5, said method comprising acts of-
a) arranging metal square beams (104) with spacers (108) and locking between two “C” shaped section tube (105) with connection bracket (106);
b) housing anchors (109) with cushioning material (114) on the spacers (108) and locking to form a pallet (101);
c) mounting outer frame (102) and locking at corners of “C” section beams of the pallet (101), with help of pillar holder plates (113);
d) placing the machine through its foundation points on the anchors (109) of the pallet (101); and
e) wrapping outer frame (102) with outer cover (103) and sealing connecting surface to complete the packaging of machine.
8. The method of packaging machines with packing device (A) as claimed in claims 6 and 7, wherein the packaging is water proof and dust proof.
9. The method of packaging machines with packing device (A) as claimed in claims 6 and 7, wherein two or more machines are packed with spacers (108) separating the machines.
