The following specification particularly describes the invention and the manner in which it is to be performed:

FIELD OF INVENTION
The present invention relates to a device for weighing gemstones. More specifically, the present invention relates to a device for simultaneously weighing gemstones of varied types and attributes that go in the manufacture of the same piece of jewellery.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The general practice for weighing of gemstones in the jewellery manufacturing industry is such that gemstones (like, diamonds, sapphires, emeralds, rubies, pearls, etc.) of different sizes, types, and other attributes (shape, quality, etc.) that go into the manufacture of a piece of jewellery (such as, a necklace, an earring, a ring, etc.) are weighed consecutively on a component of the weighing scale and thereafter grouped together as per requirement and set into said piece of jewellery. However, to ensure that the weighment of the gemstones is within the desired tolerance levels, it is important that the combined weight of all the gemstones fits into the desired weight requirement. By weighing gemstones using the traditional method, at times there is quite a lot of rework involved to ensure the above. Therefore, there is a need in the art for better solutions for weighing gemstones. The present invention addresses this problem and reduces the possibility of error and rework, safeguarding compliance.
OBJECTIVES OF THE INVENTION
The main objective of this invention is to allow for simultaneous weighing of gemstones of varied sizes, types, and other attributes (shape, quality, etc.) that go into the manufacture of a piece of jewellery.
Another objective of this invention is to reduce the possibility of error and rework in weighing of gemstones of varied sizes, types, and other attributes that go into the manufacture of the piece of jewellery.

Another objective of this invention is to safeguard compliance of overall weight of the gemstones of varied sizes, types, and other attributes that go into the manufacture of the piece of jewellery are within tolerance levels.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The following presents a simplified summary of the invention in order to provide a basic understanding of some aspects of the invention. This summary is not an extensive overview of the present invention. It is not intended to identify the key/critical elements of the invention or to delineate the scope of the invention. Its sole purpose is to present some concept of the invention in a simplified form as a prelude to a more detailed description of the invention presented later.
