A Distillation System For Separating Components Of Crude Oil

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a distillation system (400) for separating components of crude oil. The system comprises a crude distillation unit (200) processing crude oil and a vacuum distillation unit (300) fluidly connected to the crude distillation unit to separate components of residue crude oil received from the crude distillation unit. The crude distillation unit comprises a crude stripping column (40), and a crude rectification column (70) separated from the crude stripping column (40). The crude stripping column (40) is fluidly connected to the crude rectification column (70) through a first separation unit (50). The vacuum distillation unit comprises a vacuum stripping column (130), and a vacuum rectification column (150) separated from the vacuum stripping column (130). The vacuum stripping column (130) is fluidly connected to the vacuum rectification column (150) through a second separation unit (140). [Referred to Figure 2]
