A Drive Shaft For A Fuel Injection Pump.

Abstract: Abstract The present disclosure proposes a drive shaft (102) for a fuel injection pump (100). A gear pump (101) is mounted on the fuel injection pump (100). It delivers fuel to the fuel injection pump (100) from 5 the fuel tank. The drive shaft (102) is mounted such that it can rotate about its longitudinal axis to operate the fuel injection pump (100) and the gear pump (101). The drive shaft (102) is characterized by a tang (1022) coupled to the gear pump (101) wherein the tang (1022) surface has a 10 curved profile. Figure 1.

having a tang (1022) coupled to the gear pump (101) wherein the tang
