A Driver Unit For Monitoring The Dc Voltage Within Limits For High Voltage Application

Abstract: The present invention provides a driver unit for monitoring DC voltage within limits in spraying machine or any similar type of high voltage machines. The driver unit comprises a resistive network (3) connected in between -ve supply of HV unit (2) and load/air assisted spraying gun (8) for determination of input voltage (Vin) of the driver unit ; an adjustable tripping point (4) connected in parallel with said resistive network (3) for determining the tripping voltage ( Vref) ;a comparator unit (5) connected with the adjustable tripping point (4) & resistive network (3) for comparing the input voltage ( Vin) and the tripping voltage (Vref) for controlling the actuation of Relay-1 (6); a Relay-1 (6) connected in series with said comparator unit with normally open contact ; a Relay-2 tripping logic unit (9) connected in series with said Relay-1 (6) with normally open contact; the normally closed (NC) contact(1) of Relay-2 is connected in series with neutral supply of HV unit (2) and a resistance (7) connected between +ve supply of HV unit (2) and +ve of load/ air assisted spraying gun (8) to provide an additional safety in case of any short circuit in load/ air assisted spraying gun (8).
