The following specification particularly describes and ascertains the nature of this invention and the manner in which it is to be performed.
This Invention offers better and more effective way to learn ABC & numbers of any language of the world with written script.
ABC PLAYING CARDS are set of cards for learning alphabets and number of any language in better and more effective manner.(Title of the playing cards shall be different for different language).
ABC Playing Cards (English) consists a set of pairs of cards for alphabets for A to Z and numbers I to 10.
Pair of cards corresponding to 'A/a consists of 2 cards. On one card of the pair 'A' (Capital) & 'a' (Small) are printed and on the other card of pair picture Corresponding to letter A/a i.e. picture of an 'Apple' is printed. There are borders printed on both the cards printed around the letter & picture of the cards. The border design for both the letter card & picture card is same and unique for the pair corresponding to letter A/a. Similarly for other letters there are pairs of letter & picture cards with same and unique border designs for each letter upto Z.
For number's 1 to 10 pairs of cards consist cards for each number and corresponding picture card with picture of 1 circle (for number one) picture of 2 squares (for no. 2) etc. printed on picture cards and so on upto number 10 Border designs for each pair of number and picture cards for numbers are same and unique for each pair of cards.
If cards of pair corresponding to any letter or number are placed side by side borders of both cards will match to each other. Borders of any other picture card except picture-card corresponding to the same letter/number card will not match with each other.
Thus if cards corresponding to letter A/a are placed side by side as shown in fig 1, the borders of both the letter and picture card will match to each other. Border of any other picture card except card with picture of an apple will not match with the border of letter card for letter A/a. e.g. Border of the picture card with house's picture will not match with border of letter card for A/a.
Similarly for Marathi letter card for any other picture card except picture card for i. e card for KAMAL (lotus) will not match with card for letter (refer figure 2).
To teach ABC & numbers I to 10 teacher keeps cards for letters and numbers on one side of the table top and all picture cards on the other side of the table top. (or any other suitable surface) Then he places letter and number cards in columns and then he places picture cards corresponding to each letter or number by side of each letter and number. Then he shows how the borders of the letter/number cards and corresponding picture cards are matching if correct picture cards are placed against it letter/number card. And how the borders do not match if the wrong picture card is placed against a letter/number card.
To test if the learner has learned the alphabets and number the teacher selects few of the letter/number cards and places them in column on the table top. Then he asks the learner to select correct picture cards for each of the letter/number cards form complete set of picture cards and place these picture cards against correct letter/number card thus assuring the teacher that the learner has learned letters and numbers properly.
After the learners properly understands the letters/number & their respective pictures properly the set of these playing cards can be used to play few games similar to games played using conventional playing cards.
These Playing cards shall be printed on art paper, plastic coated paper, plastic sheet or any other suitable material. These Playing cards shall be packed in suitable paper boxes or any suitable packing.
These Playing cards shall be manufactured for learning & playing
alphabets/numbers in any language world over.
These cards shall be printed with any suitable printing process.
These cards shall be printed in different suitable sizes as required.

of any language world over.
The same cards can be used to play different playing card games.

The way of using the ABC PLAYING CARDS substantially described here in
above and as illustrated in figures 1,2,3 & 4 of the drawings accompanying the
complete specification.
