A Fan Cowling Assembly For An Air Cooled Internal Combustion Engine

Abstract: The internal combustion engine comprises a cylinder head and a plurality of fins located on external surface of the cylinder head. The cylinder head also comprises at least a head fin positioned above the plurality of fins and extends substantially away from the external surface of the cylinder head. The fan cowling assembly comprises a base support cowling with a first groove and a cylinder head cowling with a second groove. The first groove and the second groove forms an integrated groove such that the integrated groove is configured to receive the head fin forming a sealed structure upon integration of the base support cowling, the cylinder head cowling, and the air cooled internal combustion engine.
