Specification

FIELD OF INVENTION:
[001] The present invention relates to the straightening tool. The present invention in particular relates to the feet straightening tool for watch dial.
DESCRIPTION OF THE RELATED ART:
[002] Numerous proposals have recently been made in an attempt to find a suitable means of securing dials to timepiece movements, and particularly to the movements of wrist watches. This involves taking into account such factors as mass-production requirements and the greatest possible degree of automation.
[003] Swiss Pat. Nos. 38,943, 67,933, and 289,105 describe locking members in the form of sleeves mounted in the plate. These sleeves are driven or screwed into holes in the plate and aligned with the dial-feet. Hence the dial feet should be straight.
Reference may be made to the following:
[004] Publication No. US4291401A relates to a cylindrical bearing segment of a preferably metal sleeve is positioned within a hole in a watch-movement plate. A portion of the sleeve intended to project inwardly beyond the plate is divided by a lengthwise slot into two claws which yield so that the sleeve can be inserted in the hole by simple axial pressure. When the dial is to be fitted in place, a dial-foot is inserted in the sleeve, pushing the claws apart by pressing against inner bulges at the ends of the claws, these bulges then pressing laterally against the dial-foot and locking it firmly in place.
[005] Publication No CN106001330 relates to the present invention is to provide a rod straightening tooling, tooling is simple wire rod straightening structure can be steel wire rod straightening machine cooperating with the need to pre-straightened straightening optimized steel straightening effect of the machine. Preferably, the bottom end of the vertical frame extends toward the base direction with a right angle gusset, and the two right angle sides of the gusset are respectively welded and fixed on the base and the vertical frame.
[006] In the present invention one block fixed another moves forward and reverse in linear motion with dowel guides which is specific for dial feet straightening.
[007] Publication No CN202498105 relates to provide a three-group hyperbolic roller rotation mounted on a bracket to complete the straightening of the oil pipe, and to balance the straightening force of the oil pipe in any direction, so as to ensure the straightness of the pipe can be achieved. A straightening device that corrects the roundness of the pipe and ensures the roundness of the pipe. In this patent they are using.
[008] This invention has feet a three-group hyperbolic roller whereas the present invention uses two group roller specific for dial application.
[009] Publication No GB1497771 relates to a pair of straightening mechanisms each of which have a pair of fingers for straightening one of the leads of an axial leaded component, such as an electrical capacitor, which have finger pads on their ends that are made of a soft resilient material, such as nylon The pads are closed upon the leads and press against them while the fingers and the pads are continually rotated and are simultaneously drawn along the lead After a lead has been straightened, the fingers open up while still rotating so that a new component may be inserted into the straightening position of the mechanism. This is done for machine parts.
[010] The present invention uses is specific for dial application.
[011] Thus the dial feet need to be straight in order to fit the mechanism of the watch. Typically they are manually inspected and if crooked, they are manually straightened. Manual process is painstaking and has variations and not standardized. Hence, a system and method is needed which can straighten the dial feet.
[012] The present invention aims to provide a device to quickly and effectively straighten the dial feet for straighten the feet of watch dial.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION:
[013] The principal object of the present invention is to provide straightening device for straighten the feet of watch dial.
[014] Another object of the present invention is to provide dial feet straightening device to straighten the dial feet quickly and effectively.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:
[015] The present invention relates to a straightening device for straighten the feet of watch dial. The device consists of two parts: one male (lower) and one female (upper) part sits over one another and both parts are aligned to each other with dowel pins. The upper part has a V shaped female part and a male part that fits into it which controls the centre distance of feet position and straighten the feet. A rotatory lever is attached to the base (lower part). The dial feet are inserted between the two and rotate the lever and because of pressure it will straighten the dial. A cam with pivot part is provided which forces one parts and due to spring it pushes it inside. The dial feet are squished/ squeezed between these two parts with pressure and that straightens them out quickly.
BREIF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS:
[016] It is to be noted, however, that the appended drawings illustrate only typical embodiments of this invention and are therefore not to be considered for limiting of its scope, for the invention may admit to other equally effective embodiments.
[017] Figure 1 and 2 shows a straightening device according to the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION:
[018] The present invention provides a straightening device for straighten the feet of watch dial. The device consists of two parts: one male A (lower) and one female B (upper) part sits over one another and both parts are aligned to each other with dowel pins. The upper part has a V shaped female part B and a male part that fits into it which controls the centre distance of feet position and straighten the feet. A rotatory lever 1 is attached to the base (lower part) A. The dial feet are inserted between the two and rotate the lever and because of pressure it will straighten the dial. A cam with pivot part is provided which forces one parts and due to spring it pushes it inside. The dial feet are squished/ squeezed between these two parts with pressure and that straightens them out quickly.
[019] Figure 1 and 2 shows V part assembly & mechanism comprising V shape male & female parts on wire cut with dowel pin guide and both parts are fitted on a standard block. The dial feet are squished/ squeezed between two V parts with pressure and that straightens them out. In V Parts there is standard angle which helps in assembly in full form and avoid any gap during assly.
[020] It is a straightening device for straighten the feet of watch dial. Aligned dimension is used between dial feet to design feet straightening device. The feet straightening parts on their aligned value/ centre distance of feet position. The radius of male parts is design as per feet radius. As both parts are aligned to each other w.r.t dowel pins, they straighten the feet when they are push to assemble. A cam with pivot part is provided which forces one parts and due to spring it pushes it inside. The dial feet are squished / squeezed between these two parts with pressure and that straightens them out quickly.
[021] Numerous modifications and adaptations of the system of the present invention will be apparent to those skilled in the art, and thus it is intended

by the appended claims to cover all such modifications and adaptations which fall within the true spirit and scope of this invention.
