Specification

The embodiments herein relate to a fender mounting assembly and a method for mounting fender in a height adjustable vehicle.
BACKGROUND
[002] Agricultural vehicles such as tractors and other similar vehicles are primarily used in agricultural field operations. The conventional tractor has the limitation of working in standing crops for intercultural operations due to its low ground clearance. During inter-culture operations, the tractor does not have the flexibility to adjust the ground clearance to suit the crop heights, which would result in damaging the standing crop. The tractor is customized to have high ground clearance to suit the height of standing crop. However, the customized high ground clearance tractor has other limitations and cannot perform like a conventional tractor. Usually, fenders are provided immediately above the tires of the tractor to protect operator from the rotating tire and also to prevent the sand, mud, stones or other foreign particles from being thrown from the rotating tires to being scattered all over the tractor and/or the operator. Fenders are kept common only to accommodate the different tire sizes and wheel tracks, but in those cases, there is no change in the wheel base and height of tractor. Mounting fenders to the tractor with low and/or high ground clearance is difficult and is one of the challenges posed to the original equipment manufacturers (OEM's).
[003] Therefore, there exists a need for a fender mounting assembly and a method for mounting fender in a height adjustable vehicle, which obviates the aforementioned drawbacks.
