We claim:
1. A forward brake indicate device to indicate brake status of vehicle ahead to avoid
rear end collision due to sudden braking of vehicle, said device comprises;
i. camera to capture images of front vehicle's (1) rear end brake light;
ii. DSP processor to process the images captured to determine change in
intensity of color at indicators of the front vehicle (1); and iii. additional lights at rear end of vehicle (2) which is behind on the front
vehicle (1) to indicate brake status of the vehicle (1) before applying
brakes of vehicle (2).
2. A method to indicate brake status of vehicle ahead to avoid rear end collision due
to sudden braking of vehicle, said method comprising steps of
i. capturing images of front vehicle's (1) rear end brake light status;
ii. processing the captured images to determine change in intensity of
color at indicators of the front vehicle (1); iii. indicating the brake status of the vehicle (1) before applying brakes of
vehicle (2) when the intensity of color at indicators of the front vehicle
is changed.
3. The method as claimed in claim 2, wherein the method enables the driver of
vehicle (3) which is behind of the vehicle (2) to apply brakes by visualizing the
additional lights at the rear end of vehicle (2).
4. A forward brake indicate device and method to indicate brake status of vehicle
ahead to avoid rear end collision due to sudden braking of vehicle is substantially
