FIELD OF INVENTION
This invention relates to a fuel box for dual fuel vehicles.
PRIOR ART
The fuel box known in the art for gasoline filling prior to the development of CNG/LPG vehicles is shown below. With the existing fuel box, only a single fuel is available besides petrol.

OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
The primary object of the present invention is to provide a fuel box of dual fuel vehicles which is simple in construction.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a fuel box of dual fuel vehicles which is cost effective.
Further object of the present invention is to provide a fuel box of dual fuel vehicles which is efficient.
STATEMENT OF INVENTION
According to this invention, there is provided a fuel box for dual fuel vehicles comprising of a fuel box comprising of LPG/CNG receptacle and a micro switch with the provision of CNG/LPG and petrol filling wherein the fuel box is provided with a new shape.

DETAIL DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION WITH REFERENCE TO THE ACCOMPANYING DRAWINGS:
This invention provides fuel box for dual fuel vehicles as shown in figures, such that provision for petrol filling and CNG/LPG filling are accommodated in a single fuel box with the addition of micro switch. Dual fuel vehicles having option for either Petrol or CNG/LPG. The switch gets operated by Fuel Lid to facilitate Switching off the Engine while Fuel is being filled, which constitutes a safety feature.

Fuel box is redesigned in such a way that, it judiciously accommodates CNG/LPG receptacle in existing fuel box along with Petrol Fuel Neck (fig. 10). At the same time it meets all performance 8B Homologation requirements. Also, the Fuel Box of the present invention is such that the existing side body and fuel lid remains unchanged.
The layout of CNG/LPG Fuel Filler in Fuel box also provides the additional benefit of cost as it is the near most point from the CNG/LPG Cylinder resulting into requirement of short length Pipes, Tubes 8B Hoses. Another advantage of lay outing Alternate Fuel Filler inside locked Fuel lid is that its mishandling is avoided and the system remains very safe.
The depth of the part is reduced and a flat area is provided for accommodating the receptacle as shown in section B'-B', while the area of gasoline filling is kept unaltered as shown in section C'-C'.
Salient features of the Invention over Prior Art:
> Provision of CNG filling along with Gasoline filling in the same (common) fuel box.
> Provision of Micro Switch on Fuel Box to facilitate Switching Off of Engine during Fuel Filling (Safety Feature).
> Convenient Operation for Gasoline 8B CNG filling.
> Lid Comp, Fuel Box is a common used part with known fuel box.
> No change in side body with this change
> Positioning of CNG/LPG fuel filling very near to cylinder resulting incost/weight effectiveness.
> Saving of additional fuel box / Fuel lid comp / Lock key system / Floor cable 8B opener lever.
It is to be noted that the present invention is susceptible to modifications, adaptations and changes by those skilled in the art. Such variant embodiments employing the concepts and features of this invention are intended to be within the scope of the present invention, which is further set forth under the following claims:-

WE CLAIM:
1. A fuel box for dual fuel vehicles comprising of a fuel box comprising of LPG/CNG receptacle and a micro switch with the provision of CNG/LPG and petrol filling wherein the fuel box is provided with a new shape.
2. A fuel box for dual fuel vehicles as claimed in claim 1, wherein the box having the provision for CNG/LPG filling along with gasoline filling.
3. A fuel box for dual fuel vehicles as claimed in claim 1 or 2, wherein the micro switch is provided to facilitate switching off of engine during fuel filling.
4. A fuel box for dual fuel vehicles as claimed in any of the preceding claims, is having no change in side body.
5. A fuel box for dual fuel vehicles as claimed in any of the preceding claims, wherein CNG/LPG fuel filling is provided in a close proximity to cylinder resulting in cost effectiveness/light weight.
