A guide method for guiding a device (1) that is aiming at inserting elements (2) into the ground in order to make a structure, the method being characterized in that it comprises the following steps:• establishing topographical points (8) and determining the coordinates of these points (8) in an X, Y, Z frame of reference;• putting a measuring station (3) in place in the vicinity of the structure to be made and determining the X, Y, Zposition of said measuring station (3) with reference to one or more topographical points (8)• determining, by means of said measuring station (3), the distance and the angle between said insertion device (1) and the measuring station (3);• calculating the position of the. device (1) by means of the measured distance and the known position of the measuring station (3); .• displacing the insertion device (1) so that said elements (2) arein register on the insertion axis with given positions where theelements are to be inserted into the ground.
