Abstract: The present invention relates to a healthcare system comprising of one or more information processing devices connected to plurality of terminals, wherein at least one among the plurality of terminals is connected to i) a person requiring healthcare or medical attention; ii) a person who is eligible to provide primary healthcare; iii) a person who is eligible to provide secondary healthcare; iii) a person who is eligible to provide peripheral healthcare services; iv) a person who is eligible to provide medical transportation services. The present invention provides a holistic and real-time approach for providing healthcare and medical services to a person in need involving multiple stake holders involved in the field and engaging them with one another and with the person in need through use of advancement in the field of information and analytical technology.

Specification

FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates generally to a health care management system, and
more particularly to a system, method and device for maintaining, updating, and
analyzing patient information to provide health care services.
The present invention more particularly relates to a system, method and device for
interactive health care services that include involvement of different stake holders
in health care system including medical practitioners; nursing practitioners, drug
dispenser, hospitals and patients.
The present invention also includes integrated health care management modules to
provide online healthcare management and wellness initiatives for diseases, acuity
levels and health states.
The present invention also provides for interactive clinical collaboration between
the medical practitioners; nursing practitioners, drug dispenser, hospitals and
patients in a manner that enables the medical practitioners; nursing practitioners,
hospitals or groups thereof to direct and supervise patients.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
With the advances in medical science, the human life is extended. At the same
time, some common long-term diseases such as cardiovascular diseases and
diabetes have increases their occurrence. According to a recent publication of
World Heath Organization (WHO) there are 10 million people worldwide
suffering from high blood pressure, nearly three million people suffer from
diabetes, nearly 17 million people around the globe die each year of
cardiovascular diseases, 65 million people have stroke, out of which 5 million die
each year and 5 million people get permanently disabled. In developed countries
the number of cases of stroke is declining due to better health care practices

wherein in developing countries like India and China, the same is increasing
steadily. It may be due to environmental factors associated with rapid
industrialization and urbanization in association with changing life style among
the urban population.
Although cardiovascular disease and diabetes usually occurs rs in middle-aged or
elderly, but in recent years these diseases around the world began at an early
age. The main causes are poor diet and living habits of the sick in childhood to
adulthood, including: lack of exercise, poor diet and smoking habit.
Modern youth physical activity decreased significantly, especially girls, obesity
has increased significantly in adolescence. This situation not only in Europe and
North America, and even the traditional slim population such as China and Japan,
there are a lot of young people are obese. Previous cases of type 2 diabetes in
children rarely have begun more and more common. Children from Accidents
cardiovascular disease in North America, Japan and Thailand, after the death of
autopsy records fatty streaks and fibrous plaques in the coronary arteries can be
seen in young children elevated blood lipids, high blood pressure. So the world
needs urgent action. Family, school, community, health professionals, public
health officials and policy makers need to promote all ages from children to older
teens healthy lifestyle to reduce cardiovascular disease epidemic facing the world.
The rapid urbanization in the developing countries like Indian and China, less
employment opportunity in rural and semi-urban areas in such countries caused
mass migration of youth to urban areas for employment. This trend made the older
people vulnerable of old age related diseases. The young employed mass living in
the cities hardly get the opportunity to look after the health related issues of their
old parents living in villages and small towns.
To address these issues, there have several efforts recently in using modern
method of digitalization including integration of patient related data through

ccomputational and information system that mines healthcare database which
improve treatment cost-effectively, seeking opportunities for growth in industry
regularly. Challenges and opportunities are counterbalance by artificial
intelligence (AI), information technology, 3-D printing etc. in astounding ways to
encourage healthy lifestyles. Besides this, these modern technological tools s and
solutions have the ability to create a wide range of AI-enabled medical models, as
well as to develop and analyze critical data, and devolve all-in-one integrated
medicine for streamlined care.
AI-enabled technologies are making great strides regularly, reflected by
increasing virtual medicine start-ups. The intelligent healthcare systems are
contributing effectively due to technological footprints, spread in hospitals and
healthcare industries through advanced devices, which are capable of penetrating
into the human healthcare systems at a deeper level. These tools not only curate
intelligent data and systematize analytic asset discovery, and governance, but also
improve the delivery model. It can empower industry experts to deeply
analyze/study/break/understand text to extract metadata from the extensive
content; which may or may not include integral concepts, as well as entities.
Various technologies and platforms currently available are inadequate to address
issues of providing holistic and real time approach to the patient care through
direct involvement of different stake holders involved in patient care in a
interactive manner, as well as through involving medical equipments, sensors,
localization of patients and caregivers to provide services without delays, and to
synchronise the system for optimized process of drug administration
(identification, distribution, localization, returns and disposal).

THE OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
One of the object of the invention is to provide a system, device and method that
integrate different stake holders in patient care including the medical practitioners,
the nursing practitioners, the drugs dispensers, and other auxiliary stake holders.
Another object of the invention to integrate the data generated during each stage
of patient care and sharing the same effectively between different stake holders.
Another object of the present invention is to provide an interactive session
between the patient and the medical practitioner and between various stake holder
for effective and immediate care to the patient.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a GPS enabled device,
system and method for locating and quick mobilization of the medical
practitioners, nursing practitioners, and other stake holders for immediate care of
the patients.
Another object of the invention is to provide real time monitoring of patients.
Another object of the invention is to allows access to patient information at any
moment, anywhere on real time basis.
Another object of the invention is to allow the immediate sharing of patient
information and results between different stake holders involved in patient care.
Another object of the invention is to enhance the process of drug administration
(identification, distribution, localization, returns and disposal)
Another object of the invention is to facilitate the automatic capture of medical
data and latter follow-ups.
Another object of the present invention to assist a patient to arrange medical care
for himself/herself on immediate basis.

Another object of the present invention to assist a person to arrange medical care
for his/her near and dears on immediate basis.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a health care system comprising of one or more
information processing devices connected with each other and wherein said
information processing devices(s) is connected to plurality of terminals, wherein
at least one among the plurality of terminals is connected to, a person requiring
healthcare or medical attention; a person who is eligible to provide primary health
care; a person who is eligible to provide secondary healthcare; a person who is
eligible to provide peripheral health care services; a person who is eligible to
provide medical transportation services.
In the present invention the person who is eligible to provide primary health care
includes a person capable of providing nursing services, midwife services or
similar services.
In the present invention the person who is eligible to provide secondary healthcare
includes one or more among the followings: a medical practitioner including those
of allopathic, homeopathic, ayurvedic, dental, unani, or any traditional medicine;
In the present invention the person who is eligible to provide peripheral health
care services includes one or more among the followings: a pathologist or a
pathology services provider, a person involved in diagnosis of healthcare or
medical condition, a person capable of dispensing drugs, a person involved in
retail sale of drugs.

In the present invention the person who is eligible to provide transportation
services includes one or more among the followings: a person capable providing
conveyance to any person associated with the system including ambulance
services provider;

In the present invention each of the terminals is capable of collecting information
from the person associated with said terminal and transmitting the same to one or
more information processing devices of the system;
In the present invention each of the terminals inals is also capable of receiving the
processed information from one or more information processing device and
transmitting the same to the person associated with said terminal;
In the present invention the information processing device(s) is capable of
determining the location of each of the persons associated with the system either
through GPS or similar technologies capable of determining exact location of said
person(s).
In the present invention the information processing devices(s) is capable of
making decision for transmitting the processed information to any person(s)
among the persons associated with the system.
In the present invention each person associated with the system is capable of
making logical decision based on the information collected by said person(s);

In the present invention each person associated with the system is capable of
making logical decision based on the processed information received from the one
or more information processing devices of the system.

In the present invention the information processing devices comprises of linux,
windows or android based operating system or an operative system capable of
supporting the function of the health care system.
In the present invention each terminal among the plurality of terminals is
equipped with one or more devices capable of collecting and transmitting the
healthcare or medical condition related information directly to the information
processing device(s).
In the present invention the terminal associated with the person requiring
healthcare or medical attention could able to collect the information from said
person through manual entry of information by said person.
In the present invention the terminal associated with the person requiring
healthcare or medical attention is able to collect the information from said person
either through a sensor or a device capable of collecting and transmitting said
information to the information processing device of the system, without conscious
involvement of said person.
In the present invention the senor or device includes a device capable of
determining pathological, medical or health related condition associated with the
person requiring healthcare or medical attention;
In the present invention the persons, terminals and the information processing
device(s) are connected with each other either through wired connection or
through wireless connection.

In the present invention the one or more terminals of the system is associated with
one or more of the following tools for collecting information including barcode
reader; RFID reader or device of similar technology.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION PTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention provides a mean for direct monitoring, detection,
evaluation, analysis of a healthcare or medical condition related information from
a person requiring healthcare or medical attention through a mean of providing
integrated system involving different stake holders associated with healthcare or
medical related services through a single system, device and method.
The present invention comprises of one or more information processing devices
connected with each other. Here the information processing device means a
device capable of processing information or set of instructions or algorithm(s)
such as a computer device.
In the present invention, the information processing device is connected with a
plurality of terminals. Where each terminal is associated with a person who is
capable of providing information to the information processing device(s) and
collecting the processed information from the information processing device(s).
In one embodiment of the invention, the input of the information from the
person(s) to the information processing device may be through manual entry of
such information to the information processing device(s) through the respective
terminal.
In another embodiment of the invention, the input of the information from the
person(s) to the information processing device(s) may be through one or more
sensor(s) or device capable of detecting medical or health related condition in the

person requiring healthcare or medical attention and transmitting the same to the
information processing device(s) through respective terminal.
In the present invention, the information collected from the respective terminal is
processes by the information processing device(s). In one embodiment of the
invention the logical decision of transmitting the processed ed formation to the
desired person associated with the system lies with information processing
device(s) itself. In another embodiment of the invention the logical decision of
transmitting the processed formation to the desired person may be taken by a
person acting as system administrator.
In the present invention each of the person associated with the system is capable
of both transmitting information to the information processing device(s) and
collecting the processed information from the information processing device(s)
for further action as required.
In present invention, each person collects processed information from the
information processing device(s) as desired and provides information to the
information processing device(s) as required for further processing of the
information.
In one embodiment of the invention, the person requiring healthcare or medical
attention through a device can ask for a health related assistance to the system by
providing specific instructions or request through the terminal associated with the
person. The information processing device is capable of processing the query or
instruction received from the person and transmit the processed information to the
person from which the person requiring healthcare or medical attention can get
best solution.

In one of the embodiments of the invention, the person requiring healthcare or
medical attention can directly select the person associated with suitable terminal
of the system..
In one of the embodiments of the invention, any one of the persons involved with
the system may require or instruct another her person associated with system to
follow a instruction or set of instructions.
In one of the embodiments of the invention, there is one or more system
administrators who could control overall function of the system, where such
administrator can determine rules which person shall follow whose instructions.
In one of the embodiments of the invention, one of the terminal of the system is
associated with a medical practitioner who may be either from the field of
allopathic, ayurvedic, homeopathy, unani, or any traditional medicine.
In one of the embodiments of the invention, one of the terminals of the system is
associated of a person capable of providing nursing or midwife or related services.
In one of the embodiments of the invention, one of the terminals of the system is
associated with a person dispensing drugs/medicine.
In one of the embodiments of the invention, one of the terminals of the system is
associated with a person capable of providing pathology, diagnosis or related
services.
In one of the embodiments of the invention, one of the terminals of the system is
associated with a person providing ambulance services or services related to
providing conveyance to a person requiring healthcare or medical attention.
In one of the embodiments of the invention, the person requiring healthcare or
medical attention can search and select a medical practitioner of his choice in a
locality through a device associated with the system.

In one of the embodiments of the invention, the person requiring health care or
medical attention can search and select a nursing or midwife service provider in a
locality through a device associated with the system.
In one of the embodiments of the invention, the person requiring health care or
medical attention can search and select a drug retail store or drug dispenser in a
locality through a device associated with the system,
In one embodiments of the invention, the person requiring health care or medical
attention can search and select a ambulance service provider in a locality through
a device associated with the system,
In one embodiments of the invention, the information processing device could
collect information from the terminals and process the same and make decision
regarding transmitting the processed information to specific person associated
with the system.
In one embodiments of the invention, the information processing device is
assisted by one or more persons for making decision for transmitting the
processed information to a specific person associated with the system for further
action.
In one embodiments of the invention, the person requiring healthcare or medical
attention is capable of making direct communication any other person associated
with system through any text based, voice based or video based communication
system.
In one embodiments of the invention, the person requiring healthcare or medical
attention can directly communicate with medical practitioner and receive
consultancy through any text based, voice based or video based communication
system.

In one embodiments of the invention, any person associated with the system can
communicate with another person associated with the system through any text
based, voice based or video based communication system.
In one embodiments of the invention, the real time monitoring of the health or
medical dical condition of the person requiring health care or medical attention could
be possible by any person associated with the system.
In one embodiments of the invention, administration of drugs or medicines or
therapy to the person requiring medical services can be directly monitored and
guides by any other person associated with the system.
In one embodiments of the invention, the system is capable of providing access to
patient information on real-time basis to any individual authorised by the system
administrator.

We claim,
1. A healthcare system comprising of one or more information processing devices connected
with each other and wherein said information processing devices(s) is connected to plurality of
terminals, wherein at least one among the plurality of terminals is connected to
a person requiring healthcare or medical attention;
a person who is eligible to provide primary healthcare;
a person who is eligible to provide secondary healthcare;
a person who is eligible to provide peripheral healthcare services;
a person who is eligible to provide medical transportation services;
wherein
the person who is eligible to provide primary healthcare includes one or more among the
followings: a person who is able to provide nursing services, midwife services;
the person who is eligible to provide secondary healthcare includes one or more among
the followings: a medical practitioner including that of allopathic, homeopathic,
ayurvedic, dental, unani, or any traditional medicine;
the person who is eligible to provide peripheral healthcare services includes one or more
among the followings: a pathologist or a pathology services provider, a person capable of
dispensing drugs, a person involved in retail sale of drugs or medicines;
the person who is eligible to provide transportation services includes one or more among
the followings: a person capable providing conveyance to any person associated with the
system including a ambulance services provider;
wherein
each of terminal is capable of collecting information from the person associated with
said terminal and transmitting the same to one or more information processing devices
of the system;
each terminal is also capable of receiving the processed information from one or more
information processing devices and transmitting the same to one or more persons
associated with the plurality of terminals;
the information processing device(s) is capable of determining the location of each of the
person associated with the system;

the information processing devices(s) is capable of making logical decision for
transmitting the processed information to any person(s) among the persons
associated with the system;
each person associated with the system is capable of making logical decision based on the
information collected by said person;
each person associated with the system is capable of making logical decision based on the
processed information received from the one or more information processing devices of
the system.
2. The healthcare system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the information processing devices
comprises of a linux, windows or android based operating system or a operative system capable
of supporting the function of the healthcare system.
3. The healthcare system as claimed in claim 1, wherein each terminal among the plurality of
terminals equipped with one or more devices capable of collecting and transmitting the
healthcare or medical condition related information directly to the information processing
device(s).
4. The healthcare system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the terminal associated with the person
requiring health or medical attention could able to collect the information from said person
through manual entry of information by said person.
5. The healthcare system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the terminal associated with the person
requiring healthcare or medical attention could able to collect the information from said person
either through a sensor or a device associated with said person, wherein said senor or device is
capable of transmitting said information to the information processing device of the system,
without conscious involvement of said person.
6. The healthcare system as claimed in claim 5, wherein the senor or device includes a device
capable of determining pathological, medical or health related condition associated with the
person requiring healthcare or medical attention.

7. The healthcare system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the persons associated with the system
can communicate with each other through text based, voice based or video based communication
system.
8. The healthcare system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the person requiring healthcare or
medical attention can directly communicate with the medical practitioner and receive
consultancy through any text based, voice based or video based communication system.
9. The healthcare system as claimed in claim 1, wherein health or medical related condition of
the person requiring healthcare or medical attention can be monitored directly by other persons
of the system.
10. The healthcare system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the real time monitoring of the health
or medical condition of the person requiring healthcare or medical attention, or administration
drugs/therapy could be possible by other persons associated with the system.
11. A method for providing healthcare or medical attention to a person using the healthcare
system as claimed in claim 1.
12. A device for providing healthcare or medical attention to a person using the healthcare
system as claimed in claim 1.
