[0002] Artificial carbonated beverages or soft drink consumption has become a highly visible and controversial public health and public policy issue. Soft drinks are viewed by many as a major contributor to obesity and related health problems and have consequently been targeted to help curtail the rising prevalence of obesity, particularly among children. In tropical countries, natural beverages provide delicious cold drinks during the hot summer. Due to their nutritive value, they are becoming more popular than synthetic drinks, which at present have large markets in many countries.

[0003] Herbal beverage is a basic blend of medicinal herbs derived from many types of plants with medicinal worth and disease-fighting action, as demonstrated by scientific investigations. The herbal beverage is the greatest and most beneficial alternative for suppressing or curing the disease at its source because it promotes a healthy lifestyle for humans. Herbal tea is simple to brew and may be consumed with warm water.

[0004] It keeps the body hydrated and boosts metabolism. Herbal tea comprises a variety of herbs, which including cinnamon, giloy, tulsi, black pepper, ginger, cardamom, and lemongrass. Medical herbs can be used to make a wide variety of herbal drinks. It can be either a single herb beverage or a combination medication beverage. The single-drug beverage may be manufactured with only one herb, which is prepared by collecting herbs, cleaning them, processing them, and storing them.

[0005] Herbal beverages when consumed within a balanced diet, may improve the antioxidant status, and reduce oxidative stress in humans. In addition, many commonly consumed herbal beverages do not contain any detectable caffeine levels as in coffee and tea. Herbal beverages have been used as a natural part of the food culture in countries where traditional medicines are widely used.

[0006] Herbal beverage is a mixture of various types of medicinal plant parts that have medicinal value and the power to cure the problem from the root cause so that it does not reoccur in the body and the body develops the ability to fight the problem. Herbal drinks (herb mixtures) have therapeutic significance and can help fight or relieve numerous conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and beautiful skin, as well as increase immunity. It boosts the body's defensive mechanism, which immediately heals it. Herbal drinks provide a delayed but sustained effect.

[0007] In existing technology, a herbal composition for the treatment of immunocompromised conditions is known. The pharmaceutical or medicinal preparation comprises a combination of two herbal compositions to be administered together. The first herbal composition comprises a mixture of Asparagus racemosa, Curcuma longa, Glycyrrhiza glabra, Momordica charantia, Tinospora cordifolia, Withania somnifera, Spirulina, Allium sativum, Emblica officinalis, Terminalia belerica, and Terminalia chebula, or a mixture of the active ingredients that have been extracted from those herbs or chemically synthesized.

The herbal mixture is beneficial in treating a wide variety of physiological and pathological disorders in the human body caused by a weakened or failing immune system. However, the herbal composition fails to offer customers enough immunity.

[0017] According to an aspect, the invention provides a herbal composition of a blend for preparing beverages. In one embodiment herein, the herbal composition comprises 40 to 45 weight percentage of Spikenard, 12 to 17 weight percentage of Lemon Balm, 7 to 12 weight percentage of Ashwagandha, 10 to 15 weight percentage of Rhodiola, 4 to 8 weight percentage of L-theanine, 4 to 8 weight percentage of Passion Flower, 3 to 6 weight percentage of Kava and 1 to 5 weight percentage of Skullcap.

[0018] In one embodiment herein, the Spikenard reduces stress, anxiety, depression, and tension by balancing biochemical reactions in the human body. The Lemon Balm reduces anxiety, tension and mild depression. The Ashwagandha assists in relaxing the brain, reducing swelling, regulating blood pressure and altering the immune system. The assists in reducing anxiety, fatigue and depression.

[0028] According to an exemplary embodiment of the invention, FIG. 1 refers to a herbal composition 100 of a blend for preparing beverages. In one embodiment herein, the herbal composition 100 comprises 40 to 45 weight percentage of Spikenard 102, 12 to 17 weight percentage of Lemon Balm 104, 7 to 12 weight percentage of Ashwagandha 106, 10 to 15 weight percentage of Rhodiola 108, 4 to 8 weight percentage of L-theanine 110, 4 to 8 weight percentage of Passion Flower 112, 3 to 6 weight percentage of Kava 114 and 1 to 5 weight percentage of Skullcap 116.

2. The herbal composition (100) of a blend as claimed in claim 1, wherein the herbal composition comprises 40 to 45 weight percentage of the Spikenard (102) for reducing stress, anxiety, depression, and tension by balancing biochemical reactions in the human body.
3. The herbal composition (100) of a blend as claimed in claim 1, wherein the herbal composition comprises 12 to 17 weight percentage of the Lemon Balm (104) for reducing anxiety, tension and mild depression.
4. The herbal composition (100) of a blend as claimed in claim 1, wherein the herbal composition comprises 7 to 12 weight percentage of the Ashwagandha (106) that assists in relaxing the brain, reducing swelling, regulating blood pressure and altering the immune system.
5. The herbal composition (100) of a blend as claimed in claim 1, wherein the herbal composition comprises 10 to 15 weight percentage of the Rhodiola (108) that assists in reducing anxiety, fatigue and depression.

8. The herbal composition (100) of a blend as claimed in claim 1, wherein the herbal composition comprises 1 to 5 weight percentage of the Skullcap (116), which assists in protecting against neurological disorders such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, anxiety, and depression.
9. A method for preparing a herbal composition (100) of a blend for preparing beverages, comprising:
measuring each herbal extract of a herbal composition (100) precisely to match exact weight specifications, thereby ensuring consistent quality and potency;
adding distilled water to the weighed extracts and heating at a temperature of 60°C to dissolve herbal essence into the distilled water for obtaining a heated mixture;
filtering the heated mixture to separate unwanted materials and obtain a purified herbal blend, thereby preserving the purified blend; and
mixing the purified blend in at least one fluid to prepare at least one beverage for amplifying inherent benefits to consumers, wherein the at least one fluid includes distilled water, milk, protein shakes and other liquids.
10. The method as claimed in claim 9, wherein the herbal composition (100) comprises:
40 to 45 weight percentage of Spikenard (102), 12 to 17 weight percentage of Lemon Balm (104), 7 to 12 weight percentage of Ashwagandha (106), 10 to 15 weight percentage of Rhodiola (108), 4 to 8 weight percentage of L-theanine (110), 4 to 8 weight percentage of Passion Flower (112), 3 to 6 weight percentage of Kava (114) and 1 to 5 weight percentage of Skullcap (116).
