A High Strength Hot Rolled Steel Sheet And A Method Of Manufacturing Thereof
Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method for producing high strength hot rolled steel sheet for high stretch-flangeability property. The method starts with casting a steel slab of desired composition, and then heating the steel slab at first predetermined temperature for first predetermined time. Then the steel slab is subjected to hot working at a second predetermined temperature to produce a steel sheet. After hot working, the steel sheet is cooled at a predetermined cooling rate. Then the cooled steel is subjected to coiling at a third predetermined temperature to obtain high strength hot rolled steel sheet. The steel manufactured by this method comprises bainite microstructure of at least 70% and balance being ferrite microstructure and exhibits ultimate tensile strength (UTS) greater than 600 MPa and hole expansion ratio (HER) greater than 80%.
