A Highest Rating Squirrel Cage Induced Draught (Id) Fan Motor For Id Fan In Power Plant

Abstract: The present invention relates to a highest rating squirrel cage induced draught (ID) fan motor for ID fan in power plant comprises a side cover (1) which houses a wound stator assembly (6) and a rotor assembly (2). The wound stator assembly (6) is configured on a pedestal (5) which acts as base frame and is affixed by means of fixing bolts. The rotor assembly (2) placed on a bearing (3) and a rotor armature is housed inside the wound stator assembly (6) with air gap. A cooler (4) is configured for maintaining optimum balance between cooler performance and air pressure drop. The induced draught (ID) fan motor (10) drives the induced draught fan (7) for discharging gases out of a furnace.
