Claims:1. A household appliance (10) comprising :
- a slidable storage pedestal (12) positioned at a bottom portion (13) of said
appliance (10),
said storage pedestal (12) comprises :
- a first portion (14) having a cut-section (15) for accessing said storage
pedestal (12);
- a second portion (16) adapted to store at least one item ; and
- a third portion (17) having guide slots (18) connecting said second
portion(16);
characterized in that:
said third portion (17) comprises a frame (20) extending along a front
side (22) at said bottom portion (13) of said appliance (10) in such a way
that, said frame (20) adapted to cover a portion of said second portion(16).
2. The appliance (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein a shape and size of said first
portion (14) is made corresponding to align with said extended frame (20) of
said third portion (17).
3. The appliance (10) as claimed in claim 2, wherein an additional storage space is
formed in said second portion (16) due to said shape and size of said first portion
(14).
4. The appliance (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein a step (24) is formed at a front
side (22) of said second portion (16) connecting said first portion (14).
5. The appliance (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein a profile of said extended
frame (20) of said third portion (17) is made corresponding to a profile of a door
(25) of said appliance (10).
6. The appliance (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein said second portion (16)
comprises a base (26) with a wavy surface and an adjustable partition wall (28)
for storing said at least one item in said second portion (16).
7. The appliance (10) as claimed in claim 6, wherein side surfaces (30) of said
second portion (16) comprises multiple holes (32) for movement of air inside
said second portion (16) and said base (26) is made without holes to avoid
spillage of dirt from said at least one item when stored in said second portion
(16).
8. The appliance as claimed in claim 6, wherein said adjustable partition wall (28)
is made in any one of the forms comprising along a length of said second portion
(16) and along a width of said second portion (16).
9. The appliance (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein said third portion (17) and
said extended frame (20) is made as a single component.
10. The appliance (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein said first portion (14) acts as
a handle for accessing items stored in said storage pedestal (12) and said third
portion(17) with said extended frame (20) acts as a base stand for said appliance
(10) and as a supporting structure for said second portion (16). , Description:The invention relates to a household appliance 10 comprising a slidable storage pedestal
12 positioned at a bottom portion 13 of the appliance 10. The slidable storage pedestal
12 comprises a first portion 14 having a cut-section 15 for accessing the storage pedestal
12 and a second portion 16 adapted to store at least one item. The pedestal 12 further
comprises a third portion 17 having guide slots 18 connecting the second portion 16.
The third portion 17 comprises a frame 20 extending along a front side 22, at the bottom
portion 13 of the appliance 10 in such a way that, the extended frame 22 adapted to cover
a portion of the second portion 16.
