Abstract: 700114490 Abstract A HYBRID VEHICLE AND A HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM THEREOF 10 The present subject matter provides a hybrid control system (200) for a hybrid vehicle (100). The hybrid control system comprises a hybrid control unit (215) that identifies a mode of operation of the hybrid vehicle (100) selected by user. Upon identification of the mode of operation requiring starting of an internal combustion engine (115A), the hybrid control unit enables cranking of said internal combustion engine (115A) for a pre-determined number of attempts. The internal combustion engine (115A) is cranked through a starter unit (205, 220) powered by an auxiliary power source (210). The hybrid control unit (215) enables operation of said vehicle (200) through said traction motor (120) powered by the auxiliary power source (210) upon failure of starting of the internal combustion engine (115A) within said pre-determined attempts.
