Abstract: A HYDRAULICALLY OPERATED AUTOMATIVE INDUSTRIAL SWEEPER The present invention discloses a hydraulically operated automotive industrial sweeper for sweeping the dust and other debris and dislodging it by collecting and dumping the debris into the hopper (6) mounted at the front end of the vehicle. The side brush (13) sweeps dust and debris from the edges and corners of the floors and from the corner and directs it towards the main brush (14). An impeller (33) sucks the dust and debris from the main brush (14) and further sends it to the hopper (6). The filtering mechanism in hopper enables to keep debris within the closed hopper and thereby avoids dispersing out. The present invention provides environmental friendly cleaning and also reduces the maintenance cost.

1. A hydraulically operated automotive industrial sweeper (9) comprises a hydraulic system, a chassis (1) mounted on the front part of the sweeper machine (9), two steerable front wheels (16) rotatably mounted on the front of chassis (1), a driver seat (12), a steering wheel (11), a console assembly (27) placed in the centre of sweeping machine (9), a side brush (13) mounted before the front wheel assembly (20), a main brush (14) connected with the hydraulic motor to sweep the debris and dust, a hopper (6) comprises a filter to store all dust and debris, lift and rotation arms (26) for lifting the hopper (6) in up and down direction, a hopper cylinder (10) with said lift and rotation arms (26) to provide pressure, a bumper (2) mounted on the front side of machine and a back guard (8) to protect it from front and back side, the main brush door (7) connected to the chassis (1) to protect the main brush (14) , a fuel tank (30), a hydraulic tank (31) placed under fuel tank (30), a side guard (28) mounted on the rear bottom of the sweeping machine (9) to cover the oil tank and engine, a rear drive wheel (17) connected with the hydraulic system to which special force is given machine can be driven on uneven surfaces, an actuator (35) connected to the back wheel controlled by steering unit (11) which causes rear wheel to be rotated at 180 degree;
wherein said console assembly (27) comprises a plurality of knobs and weld rods (19) and (20) attached on chassis near steering unit and (21) to (23) attached with console assembly (27). which are connected to the hydraulic system for operating the main brush (14), the side brush (13) and the hopper (6).
2. The hydraulically operated automotive industrial sweeper as claimed in claim 1, wherein the hydraulic motor and main brush (14) are connected to an impeller (33) to keep dust in the hopper (6).
3. The hydraulically operated automotive industrial sweeper as clamed in claim 1, wherein a pedal brake (25) and an accelerator (24) disposed below the steering wheel (11) are directly connected to the axel and front wheel assembly to control the speed of sweeping machine (9).
4. The hydraulically operated automotive industrial sweeper as claimed in claim 1, wherein the bumper (2) is connected with the lift and rotation arms (26) of the hopper (6) at the front side of sweeping machine (9).
5. The hydraulically operated automotive industrial sweeper as claimed in claim 1, wherein the main brush door (7) is connected with side guard (28) of the sweeping machine (9).
6. The hydraulically operated automotive industrial sweeper as claimed in claim 1, wherein the hydraulic tank (31) is mounted below the fuel tank (30) and seat panel (3) to give force to the hydraulic system of the sweeping machine (9).
7. A method of operating hydraulically operated automotive industrial sweeper comprising following steps:
a) giving force through the hydraulic tank (31) to the hydraulic system of the machine to start the engine;
b) sweeping the dust and other debris from the sides of the machine by side brush (13) and sending it below the sweeping machine (9);
c) rotating the main brush (14) against the direction of travel of the sweeping machine (9);
d) sucking and throwing the dirt and debris into the hopper (6) by impeller (33);
e) dumping the dust and debris from the hopper (6).

3. PREMABLE TO THE DESCRIPTION:

The following specification particularly describes the invention and the manner in which it is to be performed.

Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a hydraulically operated automotive industrial sweeper machine with wheels for travelling along a ground surface as well as hard surface and more particularly it relates to sweeper machine with plurality of brushes for cleaning the surfaces in various kind of field.
Background and prior art of the Invention
The use of technology in the field of industrial cleaning equipment has grown alongside the advances in industrial processes. The variety of machines available is extensive and is such that there is a machine for every application, to ensure that cleaning can be carried out efficiently and effectively.
A wide variety of machines have been developed to clean hard surface floors and removal of dirt. Industrial sweepers are commonly used to remove dirt and debris from surface such as warehouse, airport, manufacturing organization and industries. The type of sweeper used is determined by the type of surface, the physical size and the type of dirt to be swept.
The vehicle of prior art typically has four wheels and carries a main brush which is located behind the rear wheels and a debris elevating system along with pair of side brooms, known in the trade as gutter brooms. Such sweepers include a vacuum-operated pick-up head for removing dislodged debris, a hopper for collecting debris removed by the pick-up head, and a blower unit for gener¬ating air flow pattern from the pick-up head through the hopper.
However, the conventional sweepers are suffering from some well-known disadvantages. The sweepers are inefficient and only partial removal of relatively heavy debris from the roadway surface is seen.
Further, these kinds of machines need improvement in the sense that operator of street sweeping vehicles has to bear the difficulties of unevenness or irregularity of the street surfaces over which the vehicle must operate. In general, it appears that areas are not designed for the most effective and convenient operation of sweeping machines and hence the sweeping machines must accommodate the existing condition of the streets that they are designed to sweep. It has therefore been necessary to design sweeping machines so that they will readily accommodate themselves to uneven and irregular piece of land.
To overcome aforesaid difficulties, various kinds of automotive sweeping machines have been developed. Such sweeper is disclosed in US 4716621 that contains at least one sweeping brush to sweep dust and debris of a street or a sidewalk or a parking slot floor having engaged with the machine frame, a removable container for collecting the swept trash supported by pivotally-mounted guides engaged by swivel members extending in a crosswise direction to the machine's longitudinal axis.
Although the aforesaid automotive sweeper can be effectively and easily operated for sweeping ground surfaces, it is still possible to improve the sweeping operation by providing hydraulically operated sweeping machine for comfortable and safe operation.
Object of the Invention
The main object of the present invention is to provide a hydraulically operated automotive industrial sweeper to perform environmental friendly sweeping in industries and other fields.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a hydraulically operated automotive industrial sweeper which is oriented with simple design at low cost for reducing manpower and expenses for maintenance as well.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a hydraulically operated automotive industrial sweeper which is easily manufactured to render comfortable and efficient sweeping of the dust and other debris by providing hydraulic system and automatic operating system.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a hydraulically operated automotive industrial sweeper which is leads to make easy and fast application of sweeping roads, streets and industrial areas dust and debris with safety and efficiency.
Summary of the Invention
The present invention discloses a hydraulically operated automotive industrial sweeper which sweeps the dust and other debris and dislodges it by collecting and dumping the debris into the hopper (6) mounted at the front end of the vehicle (16). The side brush (13) sweeps dust and other debris from the edges and corner of the floors and directs it towards the main brush (14) and the impeller (33) sucks the dust and debris into the hopper (6). The filtering mechanism in hopper (6) enables to keep debris within the closed hopper (6) and thereby avoids dispersing the dirt and debris out.

Detailed description of the Invention
The nature of the invention and the manner in which it is performed is clearly described in the specification. The invention has various components and they are clearly described in the following pages of the complete specification.
There are many other areas where industrial cleaning equipment is a vital and important part of the cleaning regime. The present invention provides a hydraulically operated automotive industrial sweeper to sweep dust and other debris from the Areas such as airport, street cleaning, industries etc.
Fig. 1 illustrates a schematic diagram of hydraulically operated automotive sweeping machine (9) with a chassis (1). The chassis (1) is constructed with heavy duty steel to provide protection to all parts of sweeping machine (9) from all kind of hindrance like accident. Two steerable front wheels (16) are rotatably mounted on the front of chassis (1). Sweeping machine (9) is rider type unit with the operator having a seat (12) and steering wheel (11). A pedal brake (25) and an accelerator (24) are disposed below the steering wheel (11) are directly connected to the axel and front wheel assembly to control the speed of machine. The console assembly (27) is placed in the centre of the machine to provide support to the knobs and weld rod. The knobs and weld rods (19) and (20) are on chassis near steering unit and (21) to (23) attached with console assembly (27). (Shown in fig. 4).
A plate-like side brush (13) is mounted before the front wheels (16) in the direction of travel (t) and this sweeping brush (13) can be caused to rotate about an axis of rotation and connected to the hydraulic motor which rotates the main brush (14). The hydraulically operated automotive sweeping machine have high quality four stroke power engine. The Engine includes four cylinders and made on the bases of water cooling.
A ground surface, for example a street, a sidewalk or a parking lot, can be swept by means of the sweeping brush (13). Wherein the swept dust and debris are supplied to an impeller (33). A main brush (14) is connected with the axle and the pedal brake (25) with the hydraulic motor to sweep the debris and dust.
A hopper (6) is mounted in the front of the chassis (1) and connected with the hydraulic arms and cylinders (10) to move the hopper in up and down direction. The hopper (6) includes the filter with the motor to store all debris and dust. The bumper (2) is connected with the lift and rotation arms (26) (shown in fig 3) of the hopper (6) at the front side of sweeping machine (9). A main brush door (7) is connected with a side guard (28) of the sweeping machine (9). The back guard of the sweeping machine (9) is fitted below the back side of seat panel (3) and the engine cover (4) to protect the machine from back side. The single rear drive wheel (17) is connected with the hydraulic system to which special force is given so that machine can be driven on uneven surfaces. Actuator (35) connected to the back wheel is controlled by steering unit (11) and causes the rear wheel to be rotated at 180 degree.
As shown in fig. 2 a hydraulic tank (31) is mounted below the fuel tank (30) and seat panel (3) to give force to the hydraulic system of the sweeping machine (9) and connected with the hydraulic valves and hydraulic cylinders to provide pressure. The hydraulic system comprise of electric switches, hydraulic pump, control valves, hoses, motors and cylinders. An impeller (33) is connected with the hydraulic motor and the main brush (14) to transfer dust in the hopper. The impeller (33) sucks the dust to the side of filter of the hopper (6). The RIM (15) is the frame for fitting the wheels which comes in two parts inner and outer which carries the weight of the entire machine with the support of the wheels.
The head lights (18) are equipped in the bumper (2) on two sides as shown in fig.3. The operator sweeps dust and debris in the night with the help of the head lights (18). The lift and rotational arms (26) is connected with the chassis (1) to pull the weight of hopper (6).
As shown in the fig.4 the oil filter (32) is connected with hydraulic oil tank (31) by pipe to filter the oil. The fuel tank (30) is placed under the seat panel (3) to supply fuel to the machine. The console assembly (27) includes plurality of the knobs and weld rods (19) and (20) are attached on chassis near steering unit and (21) to (23) are attached with console assembly (27). Which are controlled by hydraulic valves for performing up and down operation of main brush (14), side brush (13) and to the dump the hopper (6).

The method of the present invention includes the steps of sweeping and collecting debris from the ground surface into the collection chamber of hopper (6) by utilizing the present sweeping machine (9) having a sweeper brush (13). In particular, this method includes the step of providing a sweeper brush (13) which is in contact with the floor surface, sweeping the floor surface in a forward direction by rotating the sweeper brush (13) clockwise. The method further includes the step of sweeping the debris by rotating the main brush (14) in the same direction as the sweeper brush (13). The debris received by inlet is drawn into a vacuum passageway and propelled into the collection chamber of hopper (6) by the vacuum air stream.
During sweeping operation, the hydraulic tank (31) gives force to the hydraulic system of the machine to start the engine. Energy is transmitted from the sweeper’s power source to the load sense hydraulic pump via a direct drive mechanism. The hydraulic system is controlled by the electrical switches mounted on the control panel in the machine cab. The side brush (13) sweeps the dust and other debris from the sides of the machine and sends it below the sweeping machine (9). The main brush (14) rotates against the direction of travel of the sweeping machine (9) and throws the dirt and debris into the hopper (6). The hopper (6) collects and stores all the dust and debris in the container. The speed of the side brush (13) is normally set to move debris from alongside the sweeper into the path of the main brush (14).
After collecting dust, impeller (33) sucks and keeps the dust in the hopper (6). The hopper cylinder (10) gives pressure to the hopper (6) for up and down movement and dumping the dust and debris from the hopper (6). The operator of the sweeping machine (9) is provided with the speed control which allows operator to operate the sweeping brush.
One of the major advantages of the invention is that it sucks all types of dust from all area without spreading odor and collect dust at one time. Further, the present invention provides sweeper which is not expensive and easy to maintain. The present invention provides environmental machine and the operator seat which can protect the operator.
While various embodiments of the present invention been described in detail, it is apparent that modification and adaptation of those embodiments will occur to those skilled in the art. It is expressly understood, however, that such modifications and adaptations are within the spirit and scope of the present invention as set forth in the following claims.

We Claim,
1. A hydraulically operated automotive industrial sweeper (9) comprises a hydraulic system, a chassis (1) mounted on the front part of the sweeper machine (9), two steerable front wheels (16) rotatably mounted on the front of chassis (1), a driver seat (12), a steering wheel (11), a console assembly (27) placed in the centre of sweeping machine (9), a side brush (13) mounted before the front wheel assembly (20), a main brush (14) connected with the hydraulic motor to sweep the debris and dust, a hopper (6) comprises a filter to store all dust and debris, lift and rotation arms (26) for lifting the hopper (6) in up and down direction, a hopper cylinder (10) with said lift and rotation arms (26) to provide pressure, a bumper (2) mounted on the front side of machine and a back guard (8) to protect it from front and back side, the main brush door (7) connected to the chassis (1) to protect the main brush (14) , a fuel tank (30), a hydraulic tank (31) placed under fuel tank (30), a side guard (28) mounted on the rear bottom of the sweeping machine (9) to cover the oil tank and engine, a rear drive wheel (17) connected with the hydraulic system to which special force is given machine can be driven on uneven surfaces, an actuator (35) connected to the back wheel controlled by steering unit (11) which causes rear wheel to be rotated at 180 degree;
wherein said console assembly (27) comprises a plurality of knobs and weld rods (19) and (20) attached on chassis near steering unit and (21) to (23) attached with console assembly (27). which are connected to the hydraulic system for operating the main brush (14), the side brush (13) and the hopper (6).
2. The hydraulically operated automotive industrial sweeper as claimed in claim 1, wherein the hydraulic motor and main brush (14) are connected to an impeller (33) to keep dust in the hopper (6).
3. The hydraulically operated automotive industrial sweeper as clamed in claim 1, wherein a pedal brake (25) and an accelerator (24) disposed below the steering wheel (11) are directly connected to the axel and front wheel assembly to control the speed of sweeping machine (9).
4. The hydraulically operated automotive industrial sweeper as claimed in claim 1, wherein the bumper (2) is connected with the lift and rotation arms (26) of the hopper (6) at the front side of sweeping machine (9).
5. The hydraulically operated automotive industrial sweeper as claimed in claim 1, wherein the main brush door (7) is connected with side guard (28) of the sweeping machine (9).
6. The hydraulically operated automotive industrial sweeper as claimed in claim 1, wherein the hydraulic tank (31) is mounted below the fuel tank (30) and seat panel (3) to give force to the hydraulic system of the sweeping machine (9).
7. A method of operating hydraulically operated automotive industrial sweeper comprising following steps:
a) giving force through the hydraulic tank (31) to the hydraulic system of the machine to start the engine;
b) sweeping the dust and other debris from the sides of the machine by side brush (13) and sending it below the sweeping machine (9);
c) rotating the main brush (14) against the direction of travel of the sweeping machine (9);
d) sucking and throwing the dirt and debris into the hopper (6) by impeller (33);
e) dumping the dust and debris from the hopper (6).
