Abstract: “A LAMP FOR A VEHICLE” 5 A present disclosure relates to a lamp for a vehicle that comprises a housing, at least one light source, an optical element, and a lens. The housing has an internal region that is defined between a front end, a rear end, an upper end, and a lower end. The at least one light source is coupled to at least one printed circuit board. The at least one light source and the at least one printed circuit board are positioned at the upper end of the 10 housing in order to project illumination towards the lower end of the housing. The optical element is positioned between the upper end and the lower end of the housing. The optical element is configured to reflect the illumination received from the light source towards the front end of the housing. Accordingly, the lamp prevents bright and dark spots while illuminating the lamp and provides uniform illumination. 15 [Referred to Figure 1]

at least one light source (3) coupled to at least one printed circuit board (2), wherein the at least one light source (3) and the at least one printed circuit board (2) are positioned at the upper end (1c) of the housing (1) in order to project illumination towards the lower end (1d) of the housing (1);
an optical element (4) positioned between the upper end (1c) and the lower end 10 (1d) of the housing (1), wherein the optical element (4) is configured to reflect the illumination received from the light source (3) towards the front end (1a) of the housing (1);
a lens (5) mounted at the front end (1a) of the housing (1), wherein the lens (5) is configured to direct the illumination reflected by the optical element (4) towards 15 outside of the housing (1).
2. The lamp (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the optical element (4) is defined with at least one reflecting surface (RS), wherein the at least one reflecting surface (RS) is positioned in order to reflect the received illumination towards the lens (5) at an angle 20 in a range from 80º to 100º.
3. The lamp (100) as claimed in claim 2, wherein the at least one reflecting surface (RS) is an inclined surface, or a curved surface in order to reflect the received illumination from the light source (3) towards the lens (5). 25
4. The lamp (100) as claimed in claim 2, wherein the at least one reflecting surface (RS) has a plain surface or a square-shaped pattern to improve homogeneity and yellowness in illumination.
30
5. The lamp (100) as claimed in claim 2, wherein the optical element (4) is defined with at least one collimating surface (CS), wherein the at least one collimating surface (CS) is positioned adjacent to the light source (3) to collimate light rays received from the light source (3) towards the at least one reflecting surface (RS) parallelly.
19
6. The lamp (100) as claimed in claim 5, wherein the at least one collimating surface (CS) has a plain surface or a square-shaped pattern to improve homogeneity and yellowness in illumination.
