Specification

We Claim:
1. A massaging device (100), comprising:
a casing (1);
an inflatable bag (2) accommodated in the casing (1), the inflatable bag (2) including one or more cavities (3) configured to receive a pressurized fluid, for selective inflation and deflation; and
an actuation mechanism (4) connected to the one or more cavities (3), the actuation mechanism (4) configured to supply pressurized fluid, to selectively inflate and deflate the one or more cavities (3), to generate a kneading action.
2. The massaging device (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the one or more cavities (3) are connected fluidically by a conduit (5), the conduit (5) configured to convey pressurized fluid received from the actuation mechanism (4), for selective inflation and deflation of the one or more cavities (3) in a predetermined sequence.
3. The massaging device (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the pressurized fluid supplied by the actuation mechanism (4) is at least one of a compressible fluid and a non-compressible fluid, and wherein the pressurized fluid includes at least one of pressurized air, pressurized water, and pressurized silicone oil.
4. The massaging device (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the inflatable bag (2) including one or more cavities (3) is made from at least one of a flexible material, an elastic material, and a leak proof material.
5. The massaging device (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the inflatable bag (2) including the one or more cavities (3) is an elongate bag (2a) with a length substantially higher than that of a width thereof, and wherein the one or more
cavities (3) are configured to be inflated from a first end to a second end along its length, by supplying pressurized fluid from the actuation mechanism (4).
6. The massaging device (100) as claimed in claim 5, wherein the one or more cavities (3) is a spiral shaped cavity (3d) having its length substantially higher than that of its width, and wherein the spiral shaped cavity (3d) is configured to be inflated from the first end to the second end along its length.
7. The massaging device (100) as claimed in claim 6, wherein the inflatable bag (2) is configured to form a dome shaped bag (2c) upon inflation, with the spiral shaped cavity (3d) forms a spiral around the inflated dome shaped bag (2c), and wherein the pressurized fluid is supplied to make an inflated portion of the spiral shaped cavity (3d) travel along a perpendicular axis of the dome shaped bag (2c).
8. The massaging device (100) as claimed in claims 5 and 6, wherein the elongate bag (2a) is wound around a solid dome shaped object (10), and wherein the spiral shaped cavity (3d) forms a spiral around the solid dome shaped object (10).
9. The massaging device (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the inflatable bag (2) including one or more cavities (3) includes a first membrane (6) connectable to the casing (1), and a second membrane (7) opposite to the first membrane (6), the second membrane (7) having variable thickness, where such variation in thickness is along at least one of length and width of the second membrane (7).
10. The massaging device (100) as claimed in claim 9, wherein the second membrane (7), upon being in contact with an user's body part to be massaged, is configured to generate a kneading pressure on said user's body part, upon selectively inflating and deflating the one or more cavities (3).
11. The massaging device (100) as claimed in claim 10, wherein the second membrane (7), upon selective inflation and deflation, is configured to generate at least one a variable normal pressure and a lateral kneading motion on the user's body part to be massaged.
12.
